Absolutely no comparison. One was legal another one was not.
To compare them is ignorant at best and perverse at worst.

yes the Phone Camera could be a supporter
but putting the man on the ground and saying F. Off
makes this a mess for Morrisons, as well.

Sounds like a possible future book?

A bit heavy handed. Who was that other little sh*t? No way was he a member of staff.

Excellent point. The blind guy had a right to be there while a shop can refuse service to anyone if their behavior breeches a policy.

Just for the record, the oxford chap got there ages early and sat a large book on a prime seat like a German tourist in Benidorm. he returned late for the event and without his student identity card required (for safety and security) to get in. His book was on a reserved seat and so was asked politely to leave quite rightly - he refused, got aggressive and as such was removed.

The president of the Oxford Union announced his resignation on Tuesday evening following widespread criticism of the treatment of a blind student who was dragged out of a debating chamber "by his ankles".

Impeachment proceedings were tabled against Brendan McGrath after Ebenezer Azamati, a postgraduate student, was forcefully removed from a debate.

Mr Azamati arrived early to the debate to reserve a seat but was denied entry upon his return from dinner. A video circulated online shows him attempting to resume his seat but being dragged off the chair and out of the room by security.

Students launched impeachment proceedings against Mr McGrath on Tuesday morning claiming he failed to prevent Azamati from being forcibly removed from the chamber and failed to investigate his staff’s actions.

The impeachment proposers also claimed Mr McGrath publicly accused Mr Azamati of violent conduct, wasted union funds on an ‘unfair disciplinary’ hearing and failed to apologise for the whole incident.

On Monday, Oxford University said the treatment of Mr Azamati went beyond “our culture of inclusivity and tolerance”.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...ragged-debate/

..it would make absolute sense for a disabled/blind person to arrive early to ensure a seat...he had no familiarity with the venue...so these things will always need planning/preparation and avoiding crowds...crowds, I would imagine...would be quite scary for him...and then to arrive back and be removed from his seat by physical force...terrifying ...I’m so glad that the wrongs have been rightfully recognised and apologised for unreservedly...

...no amount of victim blaming will make the fault with him, as has already been established officially...just for the record...’sat a large book on a prime seat like a German tourist in Benidorm’..shows stereotyped prejudice...

We're still arguing about whether it's right to drag a blind dude out of a room by his ankles? I've seen some nonsense on this forum (most of it written by me ) but this, as a fair fellow would say, is:

utter madness

I am sure many people who have had this done to them on a train will agree its very distressing and very rude

anyway back to the topic. I walked out a Morrisons cafe last year and got a refund as the food took too long so the man had a lucky escape tbf
