Last night I finally got around to watching EFL Quest and it got around to the Cardiff vs Birmingham game.

And just when you're thinking that the Referees can't get any worse, they do.

Cardiff's first penalty (when we were 1-0 up) makes no sense why it was given, the Ref tried to say that we was pulling a Cardiff player's shirt, but you look at the replay and both teams players are manhandling each other, so where the penalty comes from I don't know as the Referee should be able to tell what's a penalty and what isn't a penalty. Even EFL Quest themselves had to try and make a guess at what happened because it still wasn't very clear what had actually happened.

And interestingly no complaints from Neil Warnock about the Referees when wrong decisions benefit his team I see.

And I know that we arguably got away with one against Luton, but at least it was arguable.

I'm interested to see if the Referee let us down again against Fulham today.

So it's okay for Mitrovic to knock into one of our defenders to the lead up to the goal.

Hopefully we get a decent Referee against Huddersfield on November 23rd.

And Lee Camp doesn't lose confidence as I know that a lot of Blues fans can be quite nasty about him when he makes howlers.

Okay I'm rounding up all of the incompetent Referee decisions to do with Blues this season as we always seem to get the ****test Referees in all of the UK.

Bad Referee decisions that have favoured us so far:
1. Jutkiewicz's goal standing against Luton Town to make it 2-1 when he was leaning on top of the Luton defender to head the ball into the back of the net.

Bad Referee decisions that have gone against us so far this season:
1. The mysterious Cardiff penalty that Andrew Madley gave that still makes no sense as to where the infringement was, anyway it sent us from a 1-0 victory to a 4-2 defeat. Thanks a lot Andrew if you're for some reason reading TIBB.

2. Mitrovic getting away with shoving our player away from the ball so he couldn't clear it, meaning we lost 1-0 to Fulham instead of drawing 0-0 as the Referee and the Assistant Referee were both so incompetent that they couldn't tell that it was supposed to be a free kick to us.

3. We should've got a penalty yesterday for a shirt pull, but as usual the Referee that we get is too blind to see it. it meant that we would've been 1-0 up.

4. We should've had a penalty against Preston to make it 1-1, but clearly the Referee must think that your head is in your hand these days.

5. And we should've had a penalty against Stoke for a shirt pull that would've seen us win 3-1 instead of 2-1, but as usual our Referee was horrendous and didn't give it.

So basically instead of being on 25 Points we should be on 31 points and between 6th-7th place on the table (roundabouts anyway) instead of 15th.

No wonder VAR has had to be slowly drafted in.

Bellingham is fantastic and I've only just found out he was born in my hometown

Time for Klopp to sign him and sent him back to Bormingham on loan

Is Bormingham a typo?

Anyway Bellingham will be helping us reach promotion this season and then Champions League Football the following season.

Okay so after finally getting two games in a row where all of the officials were on form during the Reading and QPR games where the results were fair and square. We now get one of the ****test Assistant Referees in the Championship who can't tell that West Brom's first goal was offside.

So these should be the results for us.

Birmingham 1-1 Luton - Referee mistake - Birmingham 2-1 Luton (The only time this season so far that a Referee mistake has favoured us)
Birmingham 1-1 Preston - Referee mistake - Birmingham 0-1 Preston
Cardiff 0-1 Birmingham - Referee mistake - Cardiff 4-2 Birmingham
Birmingham 0-0 Fulham - Referee mistake - Birmingham 0-1 Fulham
Birmingham 1-0 Millwall - Referee mistake - Birmingham 1-1 Millwall
Birmingham 3-1 Stoke - Referee Mistake - Birmingham 2-1 Stoke
Birmingham 1-0 West Brom - Referee mistake - Birmingham 2-3 West Bromwich

I know that I'm repeating myself here to some extent, but this is why VAR is needed in the Championship.

Just in our games alone, the Referee and his assistant have made 7 errors out of 21 games (which is quite high) 6 of those errors have hurt us and if corrected by VAR would see us on 40 Points and puts us in third place.

Luton would still be in 21st place, but on the same points as Middlesbrough, and I don't know if they've received any other injustices throughout the season, I know that they don't seem to have much go their way though with the Referees.

Good goals by Charlie Austin though.

Before the game kicks off I'm gonna make a prediction on today's game between us and Wigan and see if it happens, and nobody can accuse me of cheating if it does happen.

My guess is that we'll win 2-1, I just have a feeling that we'll finally win a game, especially after the way we played against Leeds and West Brom, a home victory is coming hopefully.

The Referee is at it again I see.

So if I add the mistake of wrongly disallowing our goal to the other cesspool of Refereeing mistakes this season, we would have 46 points and would currently be in Seventh place (behind Preston on goal difference) give or take depending on errors that have happened to other teams throughout the season.

In fairness I understand that we also have to take some responsibility for the incompetent Refereeing decisions having such a large impact on the outcome of our matches, but the Referees also shouldn't be disallowing goals because of a player falling to the ground like tonight, or mythical fouls in the penalty area like in our first fixture against Cardiff this season.

Basically we should be killing games off, and the Referees need an incentive to perform better, especially if people don't want VAR around.

Mock I’m sorry to say this but I’m actually glad you’s drew tonight so we at least stand a bit of a chance on trying to catch you tomorrow when we play Fulham

We’ve won once in our last 16 games (I think it’s 16 now) so I don’t think you’ll have too much to worry about

Our form recently hasn't been that much better tbh, ever since we've put Camp back in goal though we have stopped conceding quite so many goals, although I doubt that many Blues fans will want to acknowledge that.

And with Charlton, I think that you guys will either get a shock victory against Fulham (as they can be that kinda team for the struggling teams) or they'll annihilate you's.

I doubt that it'll be a middling game, but I have been wrong about that in the past.

A Beautiful thing happened yesterday afternoon.

We won a game of Football.

Aston Villa won't know what will hit them next season in the Premier League now that we've gone on our winning run of 1.

Also I've forgotten to update the Referee blunder in the Birmingham vs Cardiff game where Gary Gardner should've been sent off and more than likely would've seen us lose 2-1.

So we should be on 49 points and give or take we'd be around 7th place in the table if the Referees were a lot better at their job.

Without Referee blunders we'd be on 52 points and be in fourth place (only behind Fulham on goal difference) give or take depending on bad Refereeing decisions harming or helping the other teams throughout the season.

But sadly as it is we're in 14th place with 40 points, which I will take if it means that we stay up at the end of the season.

We played fantastic last night, we really deserved the victory.

So we come up with the only real quality moment of the game, we also achieve the aim of the game fair and square by putting the ball in the back of the net, and yet David Webb decides to recreate Andrew Madley's invisible penalty to Cardiff earlier in the season by coming up with an invisible foul by Harlee Dean that disallows our goal.

We really should be talking about our victory tonight, but instead we'll be talking about how we "drew" the game, and of course some idiot being racist to Jeremie Bela.

At least you managed to get a point last night unlike Charlton who were 0-0 all the way to the 94th minute of the match and then conceded a goal

Yeah I don't know what's going on at Charlton at the moment, hopefully they'll pick up.

I've heard about Lucy Kerr btw, RIP to her, 2020 is seriously becoming the most gloomy year of all time.

So if we add the goal that should've stood and seen us win 1-0 against Millwall, and the penalty that should've been given to see us win 3-2 against QPR, and of course what should've been a 2-1 win to us against Middlesbrough (before the Referee ****ed up as usual)

We'd be on 59 points and be in 5th place give or take.

Basically after 36 games the Referees have made 11 mistakes that have altered the results in games involving Birmingham City Football Club, 9 of those mistakes have seen the Blues be negatively effected, whilst only 2 mistakes have actually favoured us throughout the season so far.

And the Pundits try and say that it all evens itself out.

And in fairness to Luton, Cardiff, Middlesbrough, Millwall, and West Brom, they've all had bad Refereeing mistakes this season too which would see them on.

Luton would be on 35 points and be 23rd in the table so there isn't a large difference to their fate in the table.

Cardiff would be on 54 points and would see them in 7th place with 2 decisions negatively effecting their season (Gary Gardner not being sent off + no penalty being given against Birmingham at St Andrews) And no penalty being given against Brentford. But they would obviously lose all 3 points against Birmingham at the Cardiff City Stadium. So overall 3 Referee mistakes in games involving Cardiff this season. 2 Against and 1 in favour of Cardiff.

Middlesbrough would be on 40 points and be in 19th place (ahead of Wigan on goal difference) with 2 Referee mistakes in their games, 1 in favour of them, and 1 against them last night where Forest's equalizer unfairly was allowed to stand imo.

Millwall would be on 50 points and would be in 11th place, 2 mistakes favouring them (ironically both against us) and 1 mistake going against them against Bristol City this week which should've seen them have a penalty and win 2-1.

And West Brom would be on 67 points and it would mean that they drop to 2nd in the table. They'd have lost all 3 points against us, but they would've most likely drawn with Wigan this weekend if they'd correctly been given the penalty.
