Blues were woeful, really truly woeful, we once again froze against Aston Villa who they themselves weren't amazing, we took until Craig Gardner came on of all people to start creating chances for ourselves which by the time we started to do that the game was nearly over, a real opportunity wasted there to try and get into the play-offs imo.

Now the things that were out of Blues control.

1. We should've had a penalty as Hause (I think that's his name anyway) pulls on Adams in the penalty area and stops him from scoring, admittedly Adams went down a bit easily, but at least one of the Referee, Linesman, or the Fourth Official should've noticed the foul on Adams, if VAR was in use it would've been 1-1 today.

2. Villa should've gone down to 9 men at least after the constant elbowing of Jutkiewicz at the side of his head, I am honestly amazed that the Referee didn't get at least one red card out for such barbaric challenges on one player.

3. The slightest touch on one of Abraham and Grealish and they'd go down to the floor like they were dying, again the Referee didn't do his job and book them for diving.

4. Sky Sports should rename itself the Villa Channel as they were not impartial from the first whistle, absolutely disgraceful coverage.
Again for the 2nd game in a row we had a terrible Referee who was blatantly biased towards the opposition.

The slightest touch on one of their players and they'd be given a free kick and the player would pretend to be hurt for minutes at a time, whilst Adams gets Rugby tackled just outside the penalty area and the Referee doesn't give anything.

Tbf unlike the Villa game I do think we'd have lost last nights game regardless, but it would be nice to not be facing 12 men every week.

The first weekend in awhile where the Referee didn't do anything absurd against us and guess what? We won! It shows you what we can do when there's proper officiating at our games.

And I hope that Kieftenbeld will be okay as that injury looks very serious to me.

It's sad to see Ipswich go down, but sadly throughout the season they've just not been good enough, tbh though I wasn't entirely sure on either Manager that they hired throughout the season for them.

Hopefully justice will prevail for us though after how we've been treated throughout the season by the Referees and the EFL who I'll hold both of them responsible if we get relegated at the end of the season.

Do you think that they will come straight back up?

I know that it's too early to say, but just do you have a hunch that they could go up on the first attempt Adam?

Congratulations to Charlton and Tranmere fans on your promotions.

I am tbh quite bitter at the Villa promotion due to the favourtism that the Referees and Sky Sports have shown them all season, it wasn't earned imo.

That result yesterday showed me three things about the Blues team that I had been suspecting for awhile.

1. Our owners truly are useless, not only do they sack every Manager at the club, but they're now keeping around a Manager that can't even earn us draws. They don't invest in the club properly and have also in the past seen us get docked points. The sooner that they go the better.

2. Clotet needs to change to how we played last season, but is stubbornly sticking to tactics that have seen us concede 22 goals in our last 10 matches, and god knows how many we will concede by the time he gets sacked. If he can't do it at Oxford then he was never gonna succeed with us. It's harsh but it's also the truth. In fact I feel sorry for him because the owners are using him as a scapegoat for their own incompetence.

3. The players are clearly tanking matches, I was suspicious when Hull and QPR were demolishing us, but I honestly don't believe that if our players were trying (and weren't trying to get Diet Pep the sack) that Wigan would be anywhere near our level, I mean I know that we're not an amazing team by any means, but none of those Wigan players would even make our bench, yet we're losing to them at home? Whoever the ringleaders are should be sent packing imo as they'll just cause trouble for the next Manager that comes in.

Btw I mean no disrespect to Wigan or Oxford (hell I respect Wigan trying to underdog their way to survival) I just don't respect ourselves to be punching below our weight and losing to teams that we shouldn't be losing to, especially in the manner that we're losing the games too.

I can't even pity the team like I did last season, we deserve to be down there this season, it's the teams around us like Wigan, Charlton, and Luton that I'll pity more due to either not being good enough to survive, or in Charlton's case being dogged by a **** ton of injuries.

Tbf to Cheltenham they've had a strong season so they shouldn't feel to disheartened.

An extraordinary turn around for Northampton though.

Congratulations to any Northampton fans on here on your team earning promotion to League One.

And in about 12 hours we'll hopefully extend our 7 point lead over Huddersfield to 10 to avoid relegation this season.

We got hammered against Huddersfield.

We're really in **** street if we can't even come close to beating the easiest team that we've faced since the restart.

Well done to Stoke yesterday, they completely outclassed us in every way imaginable and actually fought for their place in the League, as will Charlton in the next game.

We however just pass, pass, pass, and then more passing until we lose the ball and leave Camp all on his own to try and save us.

So Huddersfield beat West Brom earlier meaning that they are now safe from relegation. The bottom of the Championship is so close atm with us yet to play Wigan (who smashed Hull 8-0 the other day) and then Leeds on the last day of the season who are top, it’s looking really unlikely that we are gonna survive .

If Leeds are declared champions by the time that you's have to face them then they might throw out their reserves. Either way Leeds are a team that Charlton can score against I think.

Tbh I still don't think that we're out of the woods yet, especially if one of Hull or Luton wins that match.

Well it’s down to the wire. We drew with Wigan today 2-2 so that means it’s all or nothing in this last game. The way Luton have been playing since the league started back up again I can actually see them clinching that final place. They’ve been playing great so far and we’ve been going in the opposite direction.

Wednesday is gonna make me so anxious

Tbh both Charlton and Luton deserve to stay up more than us at the moment, and tbh I think that both teams will as Luton have gone on a winning spree, and you guys have just been a bit unlucky.

And I'll be joining you on that anxiety ride.

I am really concerned re Birmingham.
I'm hoping Charlton and Luton only get draws in their last match.
Or at least only one of them do.
No disrespect to Charlton or Luton fans there as they will be as anxious as I am.
Birmingham should never have been in this situation anyway, however they've been my team since I was 5.

What's the thing with Wigan still now though too..
I need to update myself on their situation.

Can't have Birmingham going down.
Please no.

If we stay up this season then these are the 10 players that I want us to look at as we could realistically get them, and they'd improve us as a club I feel.

1. Ivan Toney (Peterborough) he knows where the net is, and would be good cover for Hogan and Jutkiewicz.

2. Lyle Taylor (Charlton Athletic) experienced and again can score quite frequently which is what we desperately need.

3. Jota (Aston Villa) he was inconsistent for us, but he offered us a bit of flair in the midfield and he could set up our strikers to score. Plus he hasn't played very well for Aston Villa so I'd fancy our chances of Villa wanting to give him back.

4. Alex Bass (Portsmouth) he could be decent cover for if Catlike Camp ever got injured or Suspended.

5. Jacques Maghoma (Free Agent) we are missing him setting up Jutkiewicz's goals. I know he was controversial with fans by the end, but a Football Club shouldn't always listen to the fans because our results have been worse without him.

6. Adam Armstrong (Blackburn Rovers) he has scored 15 goals this season with a team that's punching above their weight. Plus he is starting to enter his prime which would be a good thing for us.

7. Daniel Johnson (Preston North End) he has scored 12 goals this season which is not too shabby for an Attacking Midfielder.

8. Luis Javier Suarez Charris (Watford) on loan at Zaragoza this season, he has scored 19 goals in 29 appearances for Zaragoza, another potential Striker for us to try and grab if we were to stay up.

9. Fabio Pisacane (Cagliari)

10. Luca Ceppitelli (Cagliari) They both already play together so they would already have a working relationship if we were to get the pair from Cagliari.

I've definitely been thinking too much about it lol.

We'll probably go and get some terrible players next season instead as our Sucker (the Manager) will have to pretend that he manages the club.

I'm concerned as well Joey as we've come back from the restart worse than that Derby team that only picked up 11 points in the Premier League.

I don't want us to go down either Joey, but apart from the West Bromwich and Charlton matches I've not really seen us show much fight in any other game since Football has come back, and I certainly don't want to stay up because Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday got docked points. I want us to earn it.

And I respect Charlton and Luton as Football teams so if we are gonna go down I'd rather it be against them than certain other teams. And as you rightly say their fans will also feel anxious and slightly frustrated that their team is down there.

And with Wigan they've appealed against the 12 point deduction so we're waiting to see if it'll actually happen or not.

I was really hoping for a draw with Preston.
Desperate sad.
A big city and name like Birmingham, should expect and to have better than this as it's football representation.

I'm going to be near up the wall on Wednesday.
