The Couple will no longer receive Public Funding.
And no longer use their Titles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will
also repay £2.4m of taxpayer's money
spent on renovating their Berkshire home - Frogmore Cottage.

Sounds like a decent solution for everyone really. They are free to accept commercial deals that are not damaging to the family. Hope they can all move on now and get the peace and happiness they crave.

We will never know if they put it back or not...and if they are stepping down why do they keep their title if they are not using them?

"Following many months of conversations and more recent discussions, I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive way forward for my grandson and his family.

"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved members of my family.

"I recognise the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life.

"I want to thank them for all their dedicated work across this country, the Commonwealth and beyond, and am particularly proud of how Meghan has so quickly become one of the family.

"It is my whole family’s hope that today’s agreement allows them to start building a happy and peaceful new life."

Bc he was born into his titles and she is his wife.

A bunch of haters and tabloid rags have no say on the matter.

Whether he performs any duties or not he is a royal prince. That's how hereditary monarchy works.

They were given the title of Duke and Duchess after their wedding as senior royals... He was born a prince and will therefore always be a prince...I think you are getting confused. I got the impression by tonight’s news that they couldn’t use these names and are not going to...that’s why I am asking why are they keeping them if they can’t use them.

It’s not like they are just going to disappear and the media interests in them will go away.

Will Megan sack the Nanny and look after archi herself now she is not working.

Can see a lot more drama to come.

Really they don’t need to work, a million pound in the bank gives you 8 grand of interest a month.

Harry was left 5 million from his mum and 15 million by the queen mother.

The dukedom wasnt even an issue so you are getting confused. The issue is over HRH title. Which, unlike Diana post divorce, they will retain but not use.
It's a discretionary decision of the monarch. Write to her with your question.
