It worked for 10 years and then they had to modify it - which seems fairly normal with such things

It does noting to prevent trafficking, though. Unless you can explain how this policy prevents people from coming here and/or intercepts those prior to attempting the journey.

See how he was shocked when he realised it was complete relocation, rather than processing?

Have you ever heard of the Madagascar plan?

Yes, he (Presenter Ian Dale)
thinks France would allow a UK Processing centre
for all.
At this time, they will not.

Only single men entering the UK “illegally and without authorisation since January 1” could now be relocated to Rwanda to be considered for asylum and resettlement.

Thumbs up

This action will save lives from drowning and should be applauded by all sides

Commenting, Alp Mehmet, Chairman of Migration Watch UK, said:

"In the past four years, tens of thousands of people have come without prior permission in dangerous trips by boat. These trips have led to dozens of deaths, have profited criminal smugglers and are a legitimate
source of concern, indeed anger, for millions of Britons.Offshore processing was part of Australia's successful policy to stop the illegal boats and many people were prevented from drowning. We need to see more
details of this aspect of the UK government’s plan to fix our overwhelmed and abused asylum system but offshore processing could yet help to stem this vile trade."
