And stating that someone who has never murdered or raped anyone will now rape and murder once released is pure fantasy.

He went in jail in 1974. Expected to be out on good behaviour in 1977 or 1978. It's the crimes he did in jail that kept him in. He cannot be released though. He only has 10 minutes per day with other prisoners and the rest of the time he's locked up on his own. He has no social skills. He's very violent. Has a nasty temper. He could couldn't survive on his own out there. Good decision to keep him in. |

The system failed him.
They brutalised him in his early years. 85 percent of britains mass murderers committed most of their murders after being released from prison before serving their whole terms.... The system cant be seen to fix up again, and this man has suffered the consequences But I guess the fake story about his son didnt help him either. |

The panel said he had a "history of persistent rule-breaking", "lives his life rigidly by his own rules" and was not suitable for release
Sounds like 90 percent of the population to me. |

Mentally strong enough to better himself in the most hideous of conditions over the years, yet not mentally strong enough to adapt to freedom.

Oh no, I'm English

UK and US prison systems are setup in a way for people to fail once they get in. We need to look at enlightened countries like Finland.
He should have been released imo.

He should sue for the PTSD he suffers from because that's what's stopping him being released.
