I think we all need a bit of a reality check tbh. Popular, rich, successful celebs shagging everything that moves isn't something new. He's obviously gone way too far, but why are some people so shocked? It's the rockstar lifestyle. We seem to be forgetting that 99% of the women he shagged probably threw themselves at him.

This is probably going to be a controversial post for a lot of people, but I think that it needs to be pointed out anyway.

Anyone that people have liked in the Celeb world because they had a talent at something that you personally liked, doesn't mean that you can't still like them at that same thing if it turns out that they've committed heinous crimes.

I know that you're not directly saying that Zizu, but I do believe it's best to try to separate the art from the artist in cases like this, because unfortunately a lot of the really talented people of this world aren't necessarily the most likable.

On a much smaller scale than Russell Brand, look at James Arthur, one of the best male vocalists to come off TXF imo, yet he has a very fragile ego and a very thin skin, there I say it you could call him a Snowflake he is that fragile.

But my point being that I personally still think that he is a very talented vocalist, even if some of his songs personally don't do it for me.

Tangent aside, Russell Brand is like anyone, he has his good points and his bad points, unfortunately his bad points are outweighing his good points, but his good points were that imo (and I'm assuming that you agree with me Zizu) is that he is a funny man, and I don't think that it can be taken away from him.

And Twitter should be careful with speculating people into heinous crimes, have they not learned from the Huw Edwards situation where they were accusing Gary Lineker & Rylan of being Paedophiles? They shouldn't be openly accusing people without any evidence.

i disagree Mock, for example, i haven't watched a Woody Allen film since stuff came out about him. I simply don't want to. The thing is, there are plenty entertainers around to choose from. I don't have to listen to Gary Glitter or Rolf Harris to get enjoyment out of life and I certainly don't want to contribute to a criminals royalty cheques and thats what you are doing when you watch these people on the TV or whatever

I think these cases are when Piracy is an option imo.

But I do get that not everyone wants to do that tbf.

I think Brand is closer to "another Saville" than Schofield tbh.

Schofe was just ("just") a letch who groomed a child until he was legally old enough to sleep with, there wasn't the same level of complicity and cover-up that Brand was apparently given.

While that may be true, it still does not justify alleged rape or sexual assault

and a 31 year old man sending a car to pick up a child from school is well dodgy, okay she was 'legal' but just for all he knew she could have been younger than 16

Even if that were true, The 1% who didn't should just shut up should they? Because he'd gone too far? Nope.....they should have shouted then but they should still be heard now. Any nonconsensual act is nonconsenual, I don't care who you are or what rockstar lifestyle you lead, you don't get to force someone.

Having said all that, I can understand why they didn't report it. I've spoke about this before but having sat through a rape trial with a close family member, from minutes after it was reported to the end of the trial, the way the victims are treated is horrific and I would never recommend anyone from even bothering
