I've never seen them speak Welsh to each other like Imogen and Glyn did.

Yes, but I'm Welsh so I read a lot of things in a Welsh accent.
Is Chanelle a fluent Welsh speaker? I know Jenkin is, but I'm actually not sure about Chanelle. It is compulsory to learn Welsh at school, but a lot of people just learn it as a second language like when you learn French or Spanish and they never get very good at it and never speak it by choice. Glyn and Imogen were genuinely bilingual so they could talk to each other about anything in both languages. It's also possible they've been asked not to speak Welsh if ITV can't afford to hire a Welsh speaker to do subtitles |
