Overrated. Strong start but the 6 week length was too short or just too many housemates and the messiness of the last 2 weeks with evictions etc kinda ruined it for me.

Overrated with a weak uninspiring and insipid cast who brought very little to the table

Neither...I really enjoyed the mix. The last thing it needed was Trishas negative and Racial tweets being exposed but that hopefully will mean better means testing for next time.
But I really enjoyed it... |

A learning curve for ITV I think, said from the start it will take a few series for them to settle into things.

I liked it the first couple of weeks. Then got a bit bored. Then invested for the final week. Overall I get a very meh vibe from it. I've forgotten a lot of it already. Having said that it wasn't terrible, there were worse channel 5 series. There were a few housemates I really liked.

Neither. I haven't seen it given a universal reception either way? That to me would mean it can't be underrated or overrated.
For myself, it hits the spot and fills the evenings. In the beginning I had to find it via other means and those are effort to grab and track for each ep. So the fact I kept up with it as long as I did meant it was a decent series. Other series I did not bother with live or otherwise after a while because of a poor cast. |
