Exactly LT

Personally I wouldn't waste a single pence on any of them
Immaterial of their political stance .

In my view, they ALL long past stopped being real NEWS- papers

Really good to see you back LT.

Still only the SNP Party, in alignment with around 30 of the Cons 650+ MPs.

From around 9 Parties with representation at Westminster only ONE Party, the SNP, backed by a small minority of Cons calling for him to go.

The PM, Government Leader of the Opposition and Opposition Party not supporting the call for him to go.

77 is more than I thought they'd get but it leaves 563 who at present do not support the SNP and their minority of Con allies in this move.

Not a good look for Flynn and his SNP in alliance with any of the Cons.
I can't see, as I've said before , the former Labour voters who went to the SNP in 2015, being impressed at all with the SNP having any kind of connection to Cons at Westminster.

The only Speaker really forced out in modern times was Michael Martin
However he'd lost the confidence of the Lib Dems, others and the government in the main too.

Hoyle is still supported by the government and main opposition.

Although Bercow would have been in big trouble had he stayed until after the 2019 election.
As the Cons wanted him gone.

Interesting.

However I'll lose no sleep if he resigned, I think he's been a weak Speaker myself.

However it shouldn't be down to a minority Party to force a Speaker down.
If he lost the confidence of the government or government and opposition, then in that case yes.

I doubt any Speaker has really had more than three quarters of parliament liking or supporting them.
