Default Delete own thread option ?

EDIT :
i thought it would be cool if members could have the option to delete thier own threads, incase we make a duplicate thread by accident. it would also save the mods alot of time.

What do you think ?

You can already delete your own threads. I deleted one just yesterday when I accidentally made it a poll.

good Idea its something I tried to do a few weeks ago when some idiots took offence to a thread about a toy....

I suddenly realised there was little I could do but delete the posts I'd made which made the whole thread look completely silly with objections to ...nothing as the 1st post was not there

No. There's scope for general confusion...I'd be annoyed if my reply was deleted so if there's duplicate copies of the same topic, then just report it and the Mods can merge them...

No real problem with the current system really.

I clicked "edit" and checked "Delete this post" at the bottom of the page, directly above the reply button.

Gives the user too much 'power'. If you were the creator of a massive thread, 20+ pages or something, you'd be able to delete the whole thing and everything would be lost in it.

I don't see us adding it, sorry.
