Default New GLC (Maggot\'s Band) album \'inspired by weed and curry\'

The new album from Goldie Lookin' Chain has been inspired by weed and curry, according to the group's main writer Rhys Hutchings.

Hutchings, aka P Xain, revealed that the disc will be released on April 6 and will be preceded by a full UK tour by the Welsh hip-hop band.

The songwriter, who also produces and mixes for the outfit, claimed that the disc has come to fruition through two main factors. "Mainly curry, weed and the constant wish it was summer, especially during summer," he said.

Hutchings added that he would like to see the group's new song become a hit on the continent, saying: "I would like to get the single 'By Any Means Necessary' played in all the nightclubs on the coast of Spain. If we could get it to be played in Fuengirola I would be well happy."

'By Any Means Necessary' hits the shops on March 16.
