Andy - I'll Make Love to You I can't stand this song. I'm sure Andy will do a grand job of it though, although I would have thought that it would be more suited to Nicholas (maybe because he sang Boyz II Men in his audition)
Brenda - Heartbreaker Should be good - Brenda just keeps getting better.
Maria - Brown Sugar One of the best songs by one of my very favourite groups. I have a feeling that Maria is going to do brilliantly with this - could be performance of the night.
Shayne - Cry Me a River I can't stand this song either - I really don't like Justin Timberlake - BUT I do think that this is the sort of stuff that Shayne should be singing. I think he'll probably do well with it.
Nicholas - I Believe I Can Fly Who can tell with Nicholas - he seems to be brilliant or awful.
Journey South - Living on a Prayer This should be good for them; I think they'll do well with it.
Conway Sisters - Hold On I like this song - and it can only be an improvement on last week's performance! I think this suits them.
Chico - Hero Oh dear! I'm starting to really like Chico, but I'm not sure that this song will work for him. I really hope I'm proved wrong though.

Thanks for the info Kaz

Andy - I'll Make Love to You (Boys II Men)-Great choice, something a bit less dull than the last couple of weeks. He sounded great last night on xtra factor
Brenda - Heartbreaker (Dionne Warwick)-Another good choice for Brenda. This suit's her perfectly.
Maria - Brown Sugar (Rolling Stones)-Bit of a risk and I know she's not so confident with it.She should do well.
Shayne - Cry Me a River (Justin Timberlake)-Not too sure he should have picked it because it will just seem like he's copying Justin, he should have gone with the take that song.
Nicholas - I Believe I Can Fly (R Kelly)-Big risk, been done so many times on these type of shows and proably done better. Could be the end for him
Journey South - Living on a Prayer Bon Jovi)-Will be tough but they should pull it off.
Conway Sisters - Hold On (Wilson Phillips)-It's not really a stand out song imo. Could be bottom 2.
Chico - Hero (Enrique Inglasias)-My word, I heard him sing it last night and I was shocked he can actually sing it well.

How risky is this? I have a feeling that she is going to pull it off though. I thought You're Beautiful was going to car-crash TV but she really made it work. Cannot wait to see how she does this.

All great choices for them. I do think doing Living On A Prayer is a bit risky though. You can rarely do a well-known classic justice.

Andy - He seems to have nailed this already, judging by what we saw on Wednesday night. But someone elsewhere made the Sicktor (BB5) connection, meaning that I'll be putting the kettle on when Andy sings this weekend.

Brenda - At least a song that requires a little effort from her. She wasn't doing very well with it on Wednesday at all. Hopefully, this song will find her out and she'll take a more than justified position in the bottom two.

Maria - I can't stand the Stones' original, and it's always guaranteed a press of the skip button for me. But I can see her doing well with it, though - much better than last week, in fact.

Shayne - Far better suited to him than any of his previous choices, but Simon will accuse him of copying the original rather than making it his own, no doubt.

Nicholas - A turgid song for a turgid performer. Simon is on record for despising this song.

Journey South - Far more suited to their discordant style than last week's atrocity.

Conway Sisters - A decent song choice that would be hard for even them to mess up.

Chico - No opportunity for cheap, sleazy 'dancing' this week, so it's just going to be him and this god-awful song. He'll need all the choirs and backing vocals he can get his hands on.

Thanks Kaz for posting these.

I reckon Maria has got her work cut out making this one work. I actually think it's something to do with the fact they use a backing track and not a live band. (that's one of my pet hates about these shows btw - no live band).

Shayne's choice of song is far too obvious given they have been billing him as a UK Justin Timberlaker. This could so easily sound karaoke-ish.

Nicholas' song suits him down to the ground I reckon. And he doesn't need to attempt any dancing.

Chico could come a cropper this week - he can't do any of the wacky dancing that has kept him in previously with this ballad.

The others seem okay choices apart from Andy maybe?

Andy - I don't think this particular song will have the wow factor for him.

I think he should be doing Nat King Cole and Johnny Mathis type stuff

Brenda - Will do a good job of Heartbreaker, but it doesn't really allow her to belt it out, and that's her forte'

Maria will be great with Brown Sugar

Shayne has been less impressive lately - not keen on the Timberlake song, and can't see Shayne putting much soul into it

Nicholas - Simon does hate this song, and I'm sure N's wishy-washy performance will only serve to remind us that we believe he can't. Sing or Fly.

Journey South - pretty good choice for them, but they're not great.

Conway sisters - exactly right choice for them - but they have to be at risk

Chico - bound to survive I suppose. Predictable latino choice. He'll have to resort to Glorious Estefan if he stays in much longer.
