The god we cannot see, cannot hear, cannot understand and yet we must obey seems a touch convenient?
So does this mean you have turned your back on your Christian beliefs and joined us on the Dark Side LT?

No.
Some of the reformers and thinkers and for example Presbyterians have some discussions about this.
Contrary to popular opinion, Predestination is not exactly a 'doctrine' in the Presbys.
One way to actually see this is to Wiki 'predestination' and the reason you can see just ENDLESS statements about 'what Presbyterians believe' is because... ... its an idea. Not a doctrine.

But here is the thing with that idea. In a real way it doesn't matter for us.
Put it this way:
We can suppose that God can look down the corridors of time and see into the future.
This doesn't change free will. It wont affect us,
but,
its also something that is 'senseless to us' in a sort of sense you could explain 3-D to a 2-D person in a 2-D world.

But anyways.. no, its not a 'Protestant' thing and even in the denoms that do accept is - its more an 'idea' and not really a 'church doctrine' if you see what i mean.

I don't believe in the whole Adam and Eve thing. It's a folktale. When Adam and Eve had kids, their kids would have to get it on to reproduce and that's incest.

I believe in evolution, but I still believe in God as well. I just don't think we popped up out of nowhere.

But wouldn't that happen if God created us anyway?

Think it's all rubbish myself
