The talks for BB12 does anyone know anything yet? Or were they just rumours?

Its death was long overdue anyway, after BB7 you can count the number of half decent series' on one hand
Moving it to 5 will just run it even further into the ground. people who think it still has legs and will be a huge success on 5 are in denial

Unless CH5 radically change it then it will only get the die hard audience from Ch4. Its not likely to attract a new audience now as it is.
So its viewing figures will just be far less than they are on ch4. And then it could rapidly lose the audience if they dont take to it. So it would be a big gamble for ch5. I think theyd have to get it very cheap for them to bother. |

The thing is though, that Big Brother will get more ratings than most of the programming on Channel 5 so in that way it will be a success for them.
I hope it happens. |

CBB and Celeb Hijack, 7 series in total, only BB9 and CBB7 were worth watching from start to finish imo

Due to contractual agreements and for C4's final "RIP" push not to look like a completely pointless campaign, C5 will not be allowed to announce anything until early next year at best.
Dont expect a CBB, if it happens, great but it doesnt look like it will. C4 isnt as stupid as you think. They didnt just invest millions and millions of dollars calling this the "Final BB" only to have it announced on another channel weeks later. Thats just dumb. And just cause you dont hear any news about "talks" doesnt mean its not happening anymore. You guys are so quick to jump to conclusions. Its a SECRET Negotiation for a reason. ...and who knows, maybe rumors of there being talks in the first place were all just speculation to begin with. Nothing has been confirmed either way. you just cant jump the gun and assume anything. ...not to mention it would make more sense from them to have a year long break. And quite possibly that was in the contracts when C4 let go of BB; that if it was to get picked up then it wont be allowed on air again until 2012. Who knows the truth? Only C4 and C5, unless one of us works there....we have no way of really telling whats going on. PS; Im sick of posting this over and over. |
