Brandon Flowers says his solo album 'Flamingo' will only make The Killers stronger, and he hopes the next record the band makes will be the best ever.
Brandon Flowers believes his solo album will only make The Killers "stronger" as a band.
The singer - who recently announced details of his first solo LP, to be called 'Flamingo', via the band's website - believes his time away from the group will make their next collaborative release the best it can be.
Flowers said: "This is something that will only make us stronger. I want the next album to be a wonderful collaboration between four guys who are ready to make the best record they possibly can."
The 28-year-old frontman is not the only member of The Killers embarking on solo project.
The band's drummer Ronnie Vannucci is planning to release an LP under the name Mt Desolation with members of Mumford and Sons, Keane and Noah and the Whale. Their country album will be released later in the year.
It is not yet known when The Killers - also compromised of guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer - plan to return to the studio.

electro-Brandon does not sound fun. He's working with Stuart Price [Madonna, Kylie, ****loads of others] and some other big producers so it's bound to be good, but I don't care. Rockier Killers > all.
