THE Only Way Is Essex bosses say they are glad to see the back of Amy Childs – because the beautician is a fake.

They think the "living soap" will be much better now that Amy has quit to go on Celebrity Big Brother.

They say she was too obsessed with becoming a celebrity and no longer a real Essex person.

Producer Ruth Wrigley, said the 19-year-old didn't feature much in the cult ITV2 show's second series because she was too busy chasing stardom.

Ruth said: "Amy wasn't big in series two because she stopped having a real life.

"She was writing columns and waiting for filming."

And ITV2 commissioning editor Claire Zolkwer admitted that she thought the show didn't need the flame-haired beauty because she didn't stand out enough from the rest of the cast.

What is this woman on ?

The whole "cast" is made up of idle shirkers and spongers with no obvious skills and "dubious" sources of income who "wannabe stars"

Mark Wright, for one, has been "busy chasing stardom" ever since best mate Jack Tweed, then 19, shacked up with "celebrity" Jade Goody, hanging on to his shirt-tail then leading him into various "escapades", involving bars, clubs and brawls, from which Wright emerged with maximum publicity and and minimum damage, while Tweed became the "fall-guy" .....

..... and, presumably, Amy "stopped having a real life" and "was writing columns and waiting for filming" because she DID "stand out enough from the rest of the cast" .....
