Question Big Brother at the NTA'S 2012

Was just watching those vile NTA's there, where EastEnders was wrongly beaten and stuff.

Anyway in the reality category for some complete joke of a reason - Big Brother wasn't nominated.

We had I'm A Celebrity, TOWIE, The Apprentice and Come Dine With Me.
CDWM?

Why put a silly Channel 4 show in over the DADDY of Reality TV?
I guess they could say it was because BB12 was completely under rated anyway, but do you think now in the next NTA's they'll ******ing give us some recognition and allow us to vote for Big Brother or perhaps even Celebrity Big Brother?

Because CBB9 was a great success, it has to be nominated.

It's on C5, they won't give it any recognition these days.

TOWIE and CDWM being up were ****ing ridic though, and I love CDWM.

The only good thing about it was we didn't have to have some mong like Josie Gibson representing BB in the audience.

Pretty sure we endured two series of Big Brother in 2011, even if the CBB was shocking.

I think usually there's a long list which is voted upon and then it's narrowed down to the shortlist, where there's four nominations in each category. I'm not entirely sure but I would imagine most, if not all potential nominees in every single category are initially eligible to be voted for (so BB would be included in the Reality category), but if they don't receive enough votes, they don't make the shortlist. Big Brother always used to, but sadly as the support for the show has declined, it doesn't seem to anymore.

I remember the days where Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother were both nominated in exactly the same category, essentially making up half of the nominees

Well Patrick said CBB9 deserved a nomination.

Oh my bad, I read it wrong...still, I don't think it will get as much recognition due to it being on C5.

Corrie won twice I think (maybe more than that), I'm A Celeb won best reality, Ant & Dec best presenters, X Factor won as well ...... fix! Almost every ITV show won!

I'm also pissed that CBB wasn't nominated... And to add more salt to the wound The Apprentice lost out to I'm A ****lebrity -_-

Well that's just disrespectful as ******, considering CBB9 at many times got more viewers than C4 shows were getting.

In the same category? BB and CBB?
That would of been so good to see who won and stuff, FS.

Oh well - I'm confident CBB9 will get a few votes next year then

You could vote for celebrity big brother 2011 in the first round of voting, I guess it didn't get enough voted to make the shortlist.

Wrongly beaten? Eastenders has been crap since the live episode. That's nearly two years ago.

Just imagine if BB won and Brian Dowling had to accept the award...

I just looked up the NTA awards, Big Brother used to pick up the gong right up until it's downfall BB7

Although it was for 'Factual programme' rather than 'Reality TV'
