He got all the help off the judges like being stuck on last 4 times in the time slots,and stuck on first in the final when they always do big gaps between the performances in the final and then close the votes as soon as the last performance has happened.

He also got immunity to the final which is disgusting,he potentially dropped Jorgie or Jennifer into the bottom two.

Matthew is the most fixed winner in Reality TV history.

I dont think so Jedward,he was a really good skater and I think he deserved to win,it was hard this year as some really good skaters were formed,it's not fixed imo.

Im not saying his a bad skater (although he got overscored alot imo) but giving him immunity to the final and giving him all the best time slots is fixed imo.

I disagree with that as he wobbled on his Singing In The Rain performance and the performance was just dull,and I prefered Jorgie and Chico's performance in the 2nd round to his,but admittedly he was stronger than Jorgie on the Bolero apart from the mistake his partner done on one of the lifts.

Also I thought Chico had a great night away from one very costly mistake which he recovered very well from.

Having seen the voting percentages for all the Celebs on a DS thread, it leaves no doubt that Matthew was very popular in the voting and had such a strong fanbase, that and his Ice Skating are the reasons he won, as there is no denying he is a very good Ice Skater. I like Chico and would have loved him to win, but looking at his voting percentages he wasn't as popular as I expected him to be, and didn't have the fansbase that Soap Stars tend to have on such shows? Maybe the Soap Stars all vote for each other to up the votes ???? And so Chico might have survived Skate Offs on his own merits, but was lucky not to have been in the Skate offs more often.

Anyways, Chico or Matthew winning was the result I was hoping for Just wish Chico had made runner up instead of third placing.

Would Matthew have been so powerful in the votes if the producers hadn't of held his hand every step of the way? we will never know sadly.

I think they set him up to take a certainty win also. Hes a great skater, and definitely it was between him, Jorgie and Chico as the best, but the judges arse-licked him to bits and the show gave him the best slots towards the end and hung Jorgie and Chico to dry. Maybe because hes an actor on ITV [Emmerdale] who knows?

I agree with alot you've said Jords.

Another thing that shocked me was on prop week where Jorgie got a string as a routine while Matthew had a crazy and arguably the easiest routine of the night.

Yepp they sabotaged Jorgie that week, she was ace and elegant. I dont think his routine was easy, but he could do a lot more with the props..

No I wouldn't say easy,but it was easier than Jorgie's string and Jennifer's suitcase.

I remember how much I hated him lol.

I still do standby that he was favoured alot but there's been worser skaters on the show than him, "Cough" Sam Attwater or whatever the **** his name was.
