very much correct. ten is a widely popular channel on freeview.

BB was only axed due to the government other wise it never would have been, this was of course before of BB uncut <3 which was highly controversial.

The government/prime minister only said "Get this stupid show off the air" during BB06, but they continued until BB08 so I dunno what you're chattin' about...

Why do they want season 8 style housemates? Didn't season 8 have poor ratings?

Seasons 6 and 7 were by far the best.

BB06 represents everything that is wrong with BBAU. BB07 is only good for the first few weeks, then it's unbelievably boring.

I didn't say anything about it destroying Big Brother, I said that it represented everything I dislike about it. Big Brother was strict to the point that I had zero respect for the housemates because they were just a bunch of spineless pussies. The housemates were mostly Kens, Barbies, and "regular Aussie blokes" and I found nearly all of them unlikable and uninteresting. A lot of the decent housemates were evicted early despite the vote to save. And the sexist bastards who vote once again crowned the biggest bore***** winner over a complete goddess, just because he had a nice face and a penis.

The only good thing about BB6 was Camilla

It was never cut by the government. In fact BBAUS08 had a commercial where they showed the PM saying that BB should be axed and then BB said I don't think so.

Channel 10 has never been the biggest free to air channel here. Channel 9 were top dog for years catering to an older demograpic (10 was aimed at younger audiances) until channel 7 took over a few years ago but now Channel 9 is back on top.

I think the PC Police is what led to the death of Channel 10's Big Brother, especially after the ''turkey slap'' inncident. BB7 and BB 08 were kids shows as we no longer had uncut and with only a censored daily show (at 7pm) you couldn't really get to know the housemates at all.

BB08 did have Big Mouth, which had some uncut footage.

What is the 'turkey slap' incident?
When did it happen?

The two guys were removed the next day. It wasn't a big deal at all, but everyone made it out as if they were rapists. They were boring douchebags, though, so I was glad they went.
