Default The Forgotten BB-Why's That?

It seems looking back this BB even though it had the most popular BB winner ever and UBB winner in Brian that BB2 isn't as loved as many of the other BB's.

It had the first BB romance to blossom in the house (Tom and Claire from BB1 got together a few months after the show I believe) with Helen and Paul. But that lead to many fake romances in BBUK history.

But I think the biggest reason its suffered compared to other BB's from the Classic era (BB1 to BB7). It lacked the big moment

BB1 had Nasty Nick been caught
BB3 had Jade getting Nude/House divide/First Hm escaping the house
BB4 has the Africa switch
BB5 Fight Night
BB6 Kinga and the bottle
BB7 A HM been voted back in to win

BB2 I can't think of a stand out moment which is why I think it barely gets discussed. Am I wrong?

Yeah you're probably right but it was THE classic BB for me. It was just popular enough for everyone to watch but still had great housemates and tasks. Some of the quotes that came out of it were hilarious (pretty much everything that came out of Helen's mouth and Paul likening his life so far to that of an international pop star) there probably wasn't one BIG stand out moment. I will never forget it though, I even used to go home from work on my lunch to watch live feed.

Its my first BB that I watched but I liked it cause of the people, it be somewhere in the middle of my best BB's ever though. But looking back it really lacked big moments but was more about personality's. Brian and Helen were brilliant and either one of them winning would have been great.

Its a bit sad that it doesn't get the love it deserves.

I think it had big moments. the argument on joshs birthday for example I know it wasn't like a Fight night type moment but at the time it was big and I remember the whole Helen/paul thing everyone was desperate for them to be together. I think BB3/2 are somewhat similar but because BB2 aired low key and BB3 got the launch show which was the first one people remember it more. BB2 still had the cars. BB2 will and always be my fave BB and im not ashamed to say that. great tasks great housemates without being ott arguments witty one liners and loads of moments I can remember now that make me smile.

The only thing BB2 has to show for itself is some tit falling over a chair - and an even bigger tit saying 'i luv blinkin i do)' It wasn't funny.

BB12 is better - another forgotten series.

I loved BB2, i dunno whatchure talkinbout.

It was a great series. I prefer BB2 to BB3. and it's definitely a million times better than BB1 and BB4.

BB1 and BB4 are basically unwatchable. I've tried to watch them, downloaded the whole series, have still yet to get through either of them. They are unwatchable.

Don't compare BB12 to BB2. BB2 was by far superior and one of the best BB's to exist. It had the perfect balance of arguments, bitching, believable romance, humour, tantrums and pranks.

Don't agree, BB2 was one of the best, Paul Clarke and Helen were great characters, Brian's birthday night was great, weird Stu and his stare, and Ama shouting at him.

Bubble going arse over tit, Brian and josh's date, Dean making a joint out of Banana skins, world records, Helen in the dancing task, and of course, "I've lived my life like an international superstar"

OMG Brian and Joshs date actually all three of those dates were great. That was a good reward. Oh and Helens obsession with Gucci shoes and handbag and she gave up the party for them and then paul presented her with some on finale night. And dean DID break a world record as well with the sugar cube tower. Oh and Paddy the dog Brians he looks like a gay dog still makes me laugh

@Patrick, BB12 is the worst season of anything ever, let that be known

@lostalex, BB1 still holds up as a classic to this day, let that also be known

For BB2, my main problem with it was how stagnant it was. After the fight at Brian's birthday party the only storylines are Paul and Helen's relationship (which doesn't even pick up steam until a week and a half before Paul's eviction) and Brian and Josh's relationship (which is recurring at best.) The last seven weeks are a blob of small interactions that are interesting on their own but collectively blur together.

BB1 is actually a good watch but a totally different show to what it became. Nasty Nick's gameplan was excellent to watch.

BB4 is really underrated in my eyes, it only went down the crapper when Tania went. Even Ray couldn't over come the Bores Cameron and Steph power trip.

No Patrick

BB12 apart from Aaron was really bad. Too many romances.

BB2 is far and way above it.

I found it hard to watch BB4 after, I forget his name, but some dude got told off for "sexually harassing" big brother in the diary room, and i was like WTF is this. Big Brother had no sense of humor at all, and it was just obnoxious watching someone being told off and given a warning for flirting with the BB voice.

He's just a dude in a cheesy chair talking to a camera, but they were talking to him like he was a rapist or something.

You were probably still in nappies.
All BB12 has to show for itself is a tit covered in fake tan, a tit pooing in the freezer, a tit winning.... just a house full of tits.

BB2 is far superior and one of the best. Far above the barrel scraping rubbish on channel 5.

BB1 I agree was a good BB but people compare it to todays and call it boring and to me that's not fair. tbh there were good moments and Anna is still one of the great second winners who could have probably maybe won BB3 or even 4

People also have to remember that early BB was when reality TV was in its infancy and we didn't have the culture of reality TV then so it was a refreshingly new concept to most people. The production was nowhere near as big and there was no preconceived ideas about really what was expected of them. The HMs were more natural and there was much less playing up to the cameras. Give me early BB any day over what we get now...

The only good thing about that series is Brian.
