Big Brother 15:Chaos

Hello again! I haven't done one of these in a while. So, time for me to get back in gear with my house projects. Now, for this project; I'm taking the term of Chaos (and possibly Zero Tolerance) to a whole different level.

CHANNEL 5'S CHAOTIC 15TH BIRTHDAY FOR BB

Channel 5 announced that Big Brother 15 will be more chaotic and that it will be crueler and longer than ever before. It has one of the smallest houses ever with 2 floors, 3 bedrooms, 53 cameras, 88 microphones, and 56 mirrors.

Big Brother usually sees 14-16 housemates enter the house for 9-10 weeks with some luxuries and having them nominate 2 people for the public vote to evict. Well, for Series 15 however; that is different.

The format is being turned upside-down. 20 housemates will enter on Day 1. The housemates will nominate 1 person each with 3 points. 3-5 people will be put up each week. There is no save vote this year. The public will be voting to evict during the entire series. Housemates will have crueler tasks than usual. Big Brother's Zero Tolerance will come back; but this time, it's worse. The small house and the 3-5 nominees with 20 complete strangers will cause chaos, paranoia, and claustrophobia between all the housemates. But after 99 days, 6 will remain; but only 1 will triumph as the winner of a possible 1,000,000 pounds!

Love the chaos of the eye - you've captured the theme well. Don't think the on screen graphics work though - they're far too organised when the twist is "chaos".

House Pictures: Stairs and Diary Room
Unlike most houses on here, I'm starting off with not only the stairs; but the Diary Room as well. Here are the pictures of the stairs.

Stairs:
The stairs in which housemates will use to enter and exit the house when evicted. There is a HUGE palate of colours along the stairs and on the walls. Kinda hurts your eyes and looks very chaotic instead of the nice cool colours we have in the house right now.


Diary Room:
The all important Diary Room. It is where the housemates will be able to talk to Big Brother in the midst of the chaos in the rest of the house.

Outside:
The doorbell and the lock/unlock lighted indicator are there. With a chaotic design on the outside, what will the inside look like?


Inside:
The inside of the Diary Room has neon blue-like walls and a nice "comfy" chair for the housemates to confess their feelings to BB and to nominate 1 other housemate.

I like the nomination points format, which I think our BB should adopt at least for one series.

But more like the Aus version where they have 5 points to split amongst 2 housemates.

House Pictures: The Lounge & Garden
Okay, in these next set of house pictures; you will see the lounge (where HMs will gather for nominations and evictions) and the garden. First stop, the lounge!

Lounge:
The lounge is much more claustrophobic than in previous years (almost as claustrophobic as BB5's). It has cube-type sofas and the wall that has the HM faces on them. This time around, the faces go green when nominated and grey when evicted.




Garden:
The garden for this series has a much more curvier shape. Much more curvier than BB7's garden. There is nowhere to hide in the garden, but the housemates have somewhere to get the vegetables and fruit! The smoking area is different, so is the pool. The task room is one of the rooms connected via the garden again. But this time, you can see in it! Also, the underwater camera in the pool is back!

Love the stairs - it's a shot which suggests this house is different. Sadly though the other pics just don't really follow through on the design - they're quite bog standard BB designs really. You really need to make much better use of colour and really go for it. It's one house where being easy on the eye doesn't do it any favours.
