Azealia Banks tells AU Review (via FACT) that she scrapped that previously reported collaboration with Disclosure, which was set to appear on her upcoming debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. "I did something with Disclosure but they were, like, really rude in an interview, so I canned it."

What does being "really rude" in an interview entail? After Azealia called their team-up "the greatest studio session EVAR", Disclosure killed the buzz a bit, explaining: "I think she's kind of taken to Twitter quite heavily with the fact that she's meeting with us... People now think that we've made the greatest song of all time, and it doesn't even actually have a chorus yet."

"I might leak it, though," Azealia told the interviewer from AU Review. "And to be honest, I've got better stuff on my record... It can be an f-side. A ****-you side." She said that the current list of Broke With Expensive Taste collaborators includes Pharrell, rapper Kevin Hussein, Toko Yasuda of Enon and Theophilus London.

She also explained that upcoming Fantasea II project will be released as a proper album rather than a mixtape, as initially planned. "Albums, albums, albums, albums!" she said. "True effort knows no result."

I watched said Disclosure interview, they weren't even remotely offensive about her, they just said that she hyped up what they were doing before they'd really done anything and that was something that they always avoid doing because they never know how a session is going to turn out... they just went into the studio with her to see what would happen - there was no plan to make a song for her album or their album per se, they just wanted to see what would happen, and it turns out not very much happened at that session, they apparently sat around and ate sushi and made the bare bones of a track... and then in typical Azealia style she has taken that to be the most offensive thing anyone has ever said and has ripped into them even though they didn't diss her whatsoever. Bored of her now, I was holding out hope that she'd put music out that would negate the constant **** talking, but she's just an overhyper with nothing to back it up.

There are flashes of brilliance (212, 1991, Liquorice, ESTA Noche, the Ibiza mix of Venus), but they come between large doses of **** (slagging off other artists, ATM Jam, slagging off other artists, Yung Rapunxel being the lead single, slagging off other artists, waiting like 2 years between 212 smashing...) and to be honest it's not even worth waiting around for her to get her act together. If she puts out a good single and I like it, I'll buy it, but I don't care for her delays and trash talk.
