Wow, that sounds awful.

Surely those figures cannot be right. Until they hand count every viewer face to face, I refuse to believe those figures.

Viewing figures these days are massively impacted by on demand tv and the like. The days of having to tune into a show at its time of airing are long gone.

I rang up last week to ask CH5 what time next Fridays live eviction was on and they asked me what time I could get home for.

It isn't just a few TIBB members that have stopped watching, thousands have! You only have to look on other forums & social media to see how many people are fed up of the manipulation & have given up on this series. I have too, but I will still come on here, I just wont actually be watching the show as I cannot be bothered to watch a group of mostly awful people, none of which I like...

The thing is, the ones who say they are no longer watching, are still here commenting on the show. Its attention seeking.

How is it attention seeking?? We are not watching, but we still have an interest in the show in general & I want to find out what is going on, I just can't be bothered to watch it any longer...

And if I only made my post for attention, you just gave it to me

I have watched Big Brother since the start and my favourite housemate has NEVER won it to date and I have NEVER switched off cos my favourite housemate has been evicted If you like watching Big brother it shouldn't hinge on just one housemate. True fans watch it from start to finish and don't post threads on here several times saying they are switching off. Well switch off when she goes and stop talking about it. Plenty of other great posters on here

why it every single year, every single series, everyone on here is like this show is so awful, i cant watch it anymore, i mean for god sakes, if the show is so bad why are some of you even on here talking about it?

i think this series has been great so far but then again im a canadian and compared to our north american big brothers the bbuk version will always be better but it just seems like some of you brits just like to sh*t all over yourselves sometimes, you have the best bb in the world, hands down, if for whatever reason your one of those people that watch unwillingly every single year in hopes of it going back to the days of the early series on channel 4, its not going to happen, it never will and maybe it is truly time for you to move on.

this is such an old medium for the pulse of the fans tho.. forums, bulletin board type things, skews super old, super old school, when i take a look at twitter for instance, not so much moaning. its like every year the conversations on here get progressively more negative. just deal with your issues or go watch bb usa

enough already

Because these threads are basically 'look at me, look at me' threads. Maybe i'll start a thread everytime I watch a different show. FFS.

If you read the reasons for people switching off it has nothing to do with Matthew being evicted!

I have watched every single Big Brother since it started too, but Channel 5 have been meddling with the format, trying to tun it into another trashy TOWIE clone & this series has just been a joke. For starters they filled the house with a bunch of complete assholes (most of which were found by talent scouts). Helen was given the golden pass & despite being given upteen warnings is still there, the lack of normal nominations & continual manipuation of the show goes against everything Big Brother is supposed to be about. Then the selective editing (done every year) to favour certain housemates or turn us against someone else has been so extreme this series it is laughable. It is obvious that Big Brother has decided who they want in the final & it shouldn't be that way, this show just isn't Big Brother anymore & it is because I am such a fan of the show that I have had enough of this series...

And just because we are not watching does not mean we cannot post on here still.
