Who is this guy and what's he done?

Pretty sure this is one confirmed housemate for January in any case.

That was the biggest load of biased ****ing **** I've ever had the misfortune of watching on Newsnight. What a pathetic set of questions making implications and assumptions out of totally unrelated issues.

'This incites sexual violence' no it ****ing doesn't and you can't draw that conclusion from nothing. 'Are you advocating rape' are you going to listen to the context of the ****ing joke or just throw these wild accusations around? I'd have thought the majority of people watching Dapper Laughs, I mean the clue is in his ****ing name - it's not real - realise it is just a character portraying jokes about 'lad' culture, but from the way all of this has been discussed over the last few days in the media I guess that's not the case...and that's disturbing. And the most offensive part of all was 'the people who find this funny and then going out and committing sexual violence' or words to that affect...um, it's called a joke. By a comedian. Who is playing a character. Just because I laugh at an exaggerated act for a seven second video it does not mean I intend on raping someone. This whole idea is almost as dumb as the people who think violent video games make people violent.

I thought we were past the days when comedians jokes were called into question by brainless morons who can't discern what's a serious statement and what is one intended to provoke laughs in a certain situation because it's not real, but it appears not.

This whole charade has been completely blown out of proportion and is ironically laughable, it's a shame someone's career has been destroyed in the space of a week because the media decided to start yet another witch-hunt against a comedian because they're hell bent on telling people what is and isn't funny and what can and cannot be said in the realms of comedic expression. When are people going to learn - comedians tell jokes, jokes are not real statements. It's really quite a simple concept.

I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy now. I totally understand people finding him offensive but he's explained it was a character and he was playing it up.

I think the media should just leave him alone now, it's a bit crazy to try and ruin the guy like they're doing.
