I do think now that that after a quiet few days and a fickle audience who tuned in to see the drama we will be seeing more 2.5/2.6 figures from now on. Cant see it pulling those casual viewers back in and getting 3.2 again but the fact we got those ratings is amazing. Last nights should in my opinion have been higher due to it being an explosive episode and I would have thought people would want to tune in to catching up after the NTA'S the night before. It's still on course to be the most watched C5 series isn't it? It's
So weird that the winter series seems to be reaching new heights each year and yet both the summer series are going downhill

They have promoted the **** out of it this year and are showing repeats of it on MTV twice a day. Summer CBB is already confirmed as Katie Price said she was meant to be going in that one but decided to come in early. |

I think they are taking regular BB seriously, they upped the prize fund to Ł150k and they are plugging the auditions website more than they did last year. If anything they will cancel summer CBB and focus on one of each series (focusing more on CBB)

I doubt Endemol will ever agree to reducing the format to just a celeb version. While the celeb version continues to be a heavy hitter (which it appears to be rating very, very well). I'd argue that Endemol have the ball in their court. They could effectively threaten to pull the plug and then five would be without all these mega ratings the jan version brings in. For as long as the civ version can pull in 1million viewers every night it won't be going anywhere. That's still on par with slot average, plus i highly doubt endemol will ever agree to that, as they would essientially be putting themselves out of work/money. |

Those will be the ratings from now on, officials should still hit 3m with those numbers, so it's all good.
Tonight will be by far the lowest of the series. No rows or controversy this Saturday to be shown! |

OK, here are all the overnights to date with CBB13s in brackets. Ones that have a * next to it means that one of them was a Saturday episode.
Launch- 3.27m (3.40m) 2.55m (1.85m) * 2.31m (2.33m) 2.25m * (2.43m) 2.69m (2.31m) 2.40m (2.63m) 2.52m (2.34m) 2.57m (2.54m) 2.63m (2.07m) * 2.92m (2.31m) 2.56m * (2.29m) 3.22m (2.49m) 2.63m (2.49m) 2.96m (2.45m) 2.29m (2.51m) 2.65m (1.90m) * 2.63m (2.71m) CBB13 up until this point in overnights- 2.41M CBB15 up until this point in overnights- 2.65M However, CBB13s last week surged by quite a lot which helped it out a lot. Three more officials released:
12/01 - 3.08m (2.40m) 13/01 - 2.91m (2.52m) 14/01 - 3.06m (2.57m) Jesus that 680,000 timeshift for Monday! That was Ken's ejection I think. So in terms of officials: 3.65m 3.03m 2.76m 2.84m 3.23m 3.08m 2.91m 3.06m Official after 8 days- 3.07M incl +1. Also, after those officials, the next few should be high because they were hitting high numbers for the Thurs, Friday (KPs entrance) and Sundays huge figure. So that 3.07m official average should climb slightly. Last edited by *mazedsalv**; 24-01-2015 at 11:19 AM. |
