I think its such a shame, it really is. Not the fact that Emily has gone, but the fact this has happened. Its put a huge grey cloud over the series, and I hope that ebcause its happened so early on, we can move on from it.
That one selfish comment has ruined a fantastic week. |

Emily seemed really shocked. I think its a good thing though that they removed her because or else this would be branded another 'racist' series and that would be worse than a person being removed for saying an offensive word.

I dont think emily is racist at all.. it was a really stupid thing to say but after seeing it I think the decision to eject her was a bit harsh... If it hadn't been for the CBB fiasco I think BB would have handled this differently

Hmm, I feel sorry for Emily but it's all done now I guess.
Everyone knows it wasn't meant in a racist way, so in no way should be branded a racist, but i'm expecting the media to be ruthless and baying for blood as usual. It was a kneejerk reaction by BB and maybe they should have asked Charley beforehand about the situation, but i understand why they had to remove her. |

There was no need to say it, joking or not. She was warned, therefore should face the consequences.

No, the way Charley kept saying, in front of everyone to get a reaction, "OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE SAID THAT" and then refused to say what she said was ridiculous. She made the atmosphere really horrible.
However, rules are rules, and it's fair that Emily was ousted. I don't think she's racist, she meant it in a jokey way but it can easily be misinterpreted, and she shouldn't have said it; end of. |

I dont understand how ppl can say it was taken out of context!
Its not as if it slipped out in the middle of a 50 cent rap. she said "ur pushing it out, you ******" uh hello??? how about "ur pushing it out, silly girl/idiot/fool/ugly" why ******?? why?? it had no relation to the situation so in what context was it said??? |

Theres a bit of me that does, yeah, feel sorry for her.
But she had to go. It caused offense to Charley, quite obviously. Big Brother did what they had to do, and I hope we can forget about this. I hope theres no arguements between fans and non-fans. Lets all move on. |

If Big Brother would have left it, Ofcom would have been on their case, therefore could have lead to the show getting cancelled. |

Ooooh its just come to me.
Emily obviously meant it as an insult, because she didnt say 'yo ******' or 'hello ******' She said 'your pushing it out you ******' as an insult. |

I find it shocking at how easily she seemed to come out with it, like it was just an everyday phrase.
