I really enjoyed that film too, it was very different (although it got very confusing towards the end)

Yeah, I had to follow it carefully near the end but I really liked the ending to it. I didn't expect it at all, which I love about a film.

Kingsman: The Secret Sevice - 7/10 - Done a really good job of mixing the fun in with the serious content of the film. Interesting storyline, good characters, quite funny at times too. I'm not sure what the plan is but hopefully this turns into a franchise.
Focus - 3/10 - Huuuuuge letdown. The gambling scene at the Superbowl was really well done but everything else was dull, lifeless, and the end was absolutely stupid. Jupiter Ascending - 2.5/10 - Pretty much the same as above except that it doesn't have Will Smith's likeability to carry you through certain parts. Probably the least amount of chemistry I've ever seen between 2 love interests (Mila Kunis and Channin Tatum), Eddie Redmayne was pretty bad as well, and if you're going to have Sean Bean at least kill him off to keep up his record. Unfriended - 7.5/10
A surprisingly decent and unique take on the found footage genre. The acting was never going to be great but they all done a good enough job of playing witless/unlikeable characters who soon turn on eachother in panic. I don't know where they could go with a sequel but the use of Skype and video calls were used in interesting ways. V/H/S - N/A Didn't finish, gave up an hour in. |

James Bond - Man with the Golden Gun.
One of the weakest Bond movies ever, if not the weakest. 2.95/10 Last edited by Calderyon; 10-05-2015 at 04:53 PM. |

Irresistible - 8/10
It starts off slow but once it gets into its such a good film! Emily Blunt is fantastic ans her acting ability is really shown. There's a few twists which are brilliant! Red eye - 9.5/10 The best film I've watched this year. Rachel McAdams is fantastic as is Cillian Murphy and the film really grabbed my attention from start to finished and left me on the edge of my seat! |

The Messengers (2007) - It was okay, had some good ghost moments but the ending was kinda crap. Kristen Stewarts acting was awful as usually lol - 3/5
Going watch the sequel today, looking forward to it, Norman Reedus and Rebecca from Originals/Vampire Dairies starring in it so all ready thumbs up

Avengers: Age of Ultron - 7.5/10
Very good, about equal with the first movie I'd say. I liked that they gave a lot of development to the Hulk and Hawkeye, that was one of the problems I had with the first movie, they didn't really expand on those two enough. Thought it was pretty good how they fit the other supporting characters from the individual movies in too (Peggy, Heimdal, the wing guy, etc). If RDJ isn't back for the future installments I think they'll lag from this point on though, the Avengers movies in particular rely on him too heavily. I always thought I had seen this, turns out I hadn't. Haha. Was actually quite good, a little bit iffy in places but overall a pretty decent horror film.
