Helen probably did feel all of her claims, as Brian shone a very bright spotlight on her behaviour. She should be very uncomfortable and I applaud Brian for exposing even more of the defects in her damaged, fragile ego of a character.

Helen is a coward who brought a shot gun to a fist fight and blasted Brian's guts everywhere.

"So let's not make Brian out to be a hero" but let's not demonize him either .........by running with the cheating hooker's device used to divert scrutiny from her trick turning ways. imo

I totally agree with OP

I was a huge Brian fan before he went into the house, he was in my top 3 all time HMs but i'm afraid to say he was a major let down in there.

He obviously has aggression issues and maybe some kind of issue with inferiority/bullying from the past, which he brought with him into the house and unfairly projected and directed onto Helen and Marc; even before they had said or done anything to him.

Brian was labelling them bullies, scumbags, evil human beings, energy sucking dementers etc - really nasty horrible stuff to call people and accuse people of - but never had examples, just said 'it's how they make me feel'. Sorry Brian but that's not being bullied - that's just YOU not liking people! Don't label them 'bullies' just because they are more dominant in a group setting than you are! That's just life - wherever you go!

Brian knows that Helen is seen as a bully by many on the outside so he categorised her as that for himself, knowing full well the public would back him up (plus the hate-mob all booed her on the way in etc).

So then he launched three horrible verbal attacks on her, physically intimidating her and needing to be restrained while he shouted and pointed in her face. Who looked like a bully at that point? Err.... Not Helen..

No wonder on the third outburst she said he looked like a murderer - he did LOOK like he wanted to kill her! (But not rape her, that was a bit much.).

But everyone excused Brian's intimidation and aggression because he was categorised as the 'good guy' while Helen could do no right because she was categorised as the 'bad guy'.

As the 'good guy', Brian could be as vicious about or TO Helen as he liked and it was labelled as 'defence' - even when HE was the one who attacked HER.

But as the 'bad guy', Helen could not retaliate without being labelled as the 'attacker' even when she was the one DEFENDING herself against Brian's attacks!

Brian rode the wave of hero worship on BOTS which was not really love of Brian's behaviour, but people hating Helen and cheering anyone who was as nasty as possible about her.

He is only the hero in the eyes of the people who are blinded by their own hatred of Helen; people who are mostly hypocrites as they tend to be much nastier ABOUT Helen than she has ever been on the show herself.

So no, Brian is only hero to the Anti-Helen Hate Mob. His behaviour in the house was far worse than hers.

He's a schemer who played the Jade Goody card to win-think it's fair to say he knew who Shakespeare was.The shambolic showmance with the twin didn't hurt either.Also bit of a pest with the ladies-wont leave them alone and will grab some ass when given the slightest bit of encouragement ala Jade.

The diary room entry where he's trying to come up with numerous words for female is the fakest thing I've seen in Big Brother. A complete fabrication, as was his fights during his time in the house.

Will he be at the final since he's cut his ties?
