BB is a great way to make big money (if you already have a high starting bank)
2 grand on marc at would have netted 10 grand at one point yesterday, spend 2 grand, another grand voting him out. done.
makes using vote to evict all the more dodgy, i think this will be the last series to use it.

In fact, there was a big push on facebook and other social media to SAVE him. Marc was evicted because he was a prick and the majority didn't like him.

The only real vindictive campaign was for Helen to win last year by the Ashleigh haters. Remember?

I call shenanigans.

Marc was clearly popular with vast swathes of the BB viewers for his entertainment value, and was up against 3 boring twats in the vote. I can't remember a time in BB (maybe I'm wrong?) when such a massive favourite of the public was voted out except when up against another strong character. I can't ever remember a good character going out when up against nonentities.

I predict there will be an investigation into some shady goings on in the vote over the next couple of days...it might be "problem with the phones", or "sabotage by some individuals", or "unusual voting patterns by some people".

I don't know what it will be, but there will be a scandal of some sort connected to this.

Marc my words.
We only know how popular Marc was on the forums and the bookies guessing. We have no idea what the viewers who vote but don't go into forums or anything thought. I know what I thought and if I could vote I would have also voted him out as I found him vile, arrogant and disrespectful and he didn't 'entertain me', Obviously others felt the same I thought Harry would be out but for some reason people are starting to like her now She is a sulky moody selfish person and her blowing hot and cold running off sulking is grating on me. I actually loved her at the start. I was GOBSMACKED that Marc was out as the bookies and everyone else was making him a favourite but a very good result in my eyes. I do agree though that those left in the house are really boring. Eileen, Jade and Adjoa should be still there

......as said previously......mark would have had many fence sitters who

don't normally vote reaching for the phone

his popularity was greatly eclipsed by number despising him

The Marc fans are grasping at straws

Marc had so many haters and it's VTE so it's not surprising that many people voted to evict him. Plus I doubt production would allow any shenanigans considering how much they've wanted to keep Marc in these past few weeks...

If it had been vote to save then sam would have gone. I just dont understand the public as mark made bb this year. Something is not right but remember he was bookies fav to go. So many would vote to get their winnings. Terrible loss to an already worst series ever.

Nah, a negative vote tends to get rid of the 'most popular' ones tbh, especially this near to the final.

He has shown too much personality for VTE, too marmitey

Fans of EVERY other HM were voting him as he was fave to win. Other vote was split

Along with BB saving him for 4 weeks prior which will have pissed some people off enough to vote like 10+ times each.

He could easily have been saved if they did what they did last week and froze the vote to make it head to head..but they were possibly pissing themselves about people shouting fix again or/and they had decided this close to the final, he is disposable.

Shenanigans = BB keeping Marc in for weeks under the false name of a "Timewarp HM" along with Helen, Brian & Nikki.
Shenanigans = changing the noms to place Marc in the bunker to keep him in.
Justice = Getting him out before he totally ruins the series.
It's only banter...........

I shouldn't really answer this but have chosen to.
Oddly enough no I don't recall that, I recall Helen supporters like myself calling on 'other' Helen supporters to vote 'as many times as they could', I never asked a single person who didn't like Helen or who hadn't a clue who she was, or even who didn't watch BB to vote for her.

I do recall myself as a Helen supporter getting massively and personally insulted for supporting her by those of the other persuasion however.

Back to the point of the thread,I came across people, even my own friends who had been asked to vote to get Marc out.
They were people who didn't watch BB and hadn't a clue who he was before last week.
Those are the campaigns I detest, also I add, this thread is about Marcs eviction in this series.

Yess!! They even kept the lines open to try sway the votes back and save him. He's out fair and square.

Marc shouldn't have gone but he did so fairly. Accusations of vote fixing are silly, it's not worth the channel or the production companies time or money, it could close a network down.

The issue is not with those in charge but with the system of vote to evict itself, and more importantly, the public who do not have a clue what they are doing.

The scrapping of the public vote is long overdue.

I didn't say you personally asked anyone who didn't watch to to vote for Helen
But there was a massive campaign to get her the win; many people were getting friends to vote for her on here and facebook etc etc who didn't even watch the show. There was a frenzy in the final week. I'm surprised you don't seem to remember that. Whether she won by people cheating or not I wouldn't like to say - votes are votes. A goddam awful winner anyway.

I know and it'll never happen because of it but there's ways to incorporate a public vote into a different format without it having a direct affect on an eviction result

If they adopted the US format for example (plz), the HoH could nom three people, the public votes to save one post-Veto, and then the house votes from the two left as per normal. Give the public a jury vote and you're sorted

It would also add an extra element to the game as well because you'd risk putting up a big threat only for the public to save them
