I believe that the quality of tasks have gone downhill in recent years. Channel 5 seem to rely on drama and arguments from a constant rehash of who said this/who thinks this.

Room 101 remains one of my favourite tasks because of how different and surprising it was. Nowadays nearly every task has a "this isn't the real task" element, it's predictable and sort of dull.

Comparing BB6's tasks to any other series tasks seems a bit redundant tbh, they were incredible. There have been some pretty good tasks this series - In the Dark was great.

The only ones this series I've enjoyed were the Night in the Dark (with the weird asylum place or whatever it was), and the Year in a Day task.

Far too much emphasis now on the HMs trying to identify what each other have said about them behind their backs, or what the 'public' (ie. 39 people on the app) think of them. And like Tregard said, too many tasks-within-tasks.

I think it's a good comparison to see how far production of the show has gone. As BB6 showed the best tasks, especially shopping tasks, are those that are themed. The first BB16 shopping tasks was a mashup of spelling, cycling, paintball etc.
