Default holloway road - does it need cleaning up ?

holloway road - does it need cleaning up ? 10.11.15

holloway gets no criticism

it is a shoppers paradise

but something is bringing a street exorcism

it will never get a six on the dice.

is it the shops availability

i don't need watchdog or ann robinson

because all deserve credibility

from M&S to waitrose or morrison.

outside is the tangle

the street has a new vermin

because the ones causing this mangle

do dress and act like a worn out gremlin.

with very little protection

thin cloth and clothes don't shield

but who is making the connection

begging in holloway is a different field.

in 2015 is there still need

does it bring shame on the local authority

they are not alcoholics desperate for a drug feed

its preying on the naive for generosity.

from the telephone box to lamp posts to the railings

don't worry there is plenty of room

CCTV workers are making failings

because to see or not to see is no zoom.

holloway clear up your street

this new type of begging is making a packet

the ones organizing are sitting sweet

i believe they are the same ones behind the fake cigarette racket.

( holloway is very well looked over so with so many cameras http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...-by-crime.html - am i the only one to spot this new type of begging ? is it a replacement of the illegal ciggertte trade ? http://www.islington.gov.uk/islingto...ages/2407.aspx or am i just a pure misery ? )

Britain has 4.2 million CCTV cameras, one for every 14 people, more than in the rest of Europe put together.

The number of people arrested for begging in London has doubled in recent years, alongside increases in the numbers of people sleeping on the streets. Yet new legislation to criminalise aspects of homelessness targets the symptoms, not the issues fueling them.

you are on the wrong page - I don't think as I say in my poem these types of beggers are homless. that is the whole point of my observations.

I have so much sympathy for genuine homless. and do help.
