Default Peeping at Xmas presents?

As a kid, did you search out and look at your Xmas presents before Xmas?
I've been told that girls are more likely to search out their presents than boys so it will be interesting to see how this thread goes.

Do you peep at Xmas presents under your tree as an adult?

Do you count how many presents or cards you have?!

I don't peep, but I fondle them to death trying to find out what they are!

My parents would never wrap the presents until Christmas Eve so we used to always find them and see what we were getting.

Never as they were always well hidden. We used to put our kids presents in the loft or the locked garage so they never had a chance :

I did yeah. Wouldn't open them or anything, would just try to look for wherever my parents would hide them (not very good places to be fair - usually in a drawer under their bed, or their wardrobe)

I'm bad for it tbh, even now, I checked oh's statement the other day and saw some stuff and I went raking the other night and came across a few bits, also found something by accident last night and today he had some shopping bags but when I asked what it was I got told to **** off

My mum used to go mad with us because we would feel/shake a wrapped gift and guess right away what it was haha one of my sisters was worse she would make sure there was still wrapping paper, open her gifts the re wrap them and my parents would never notice lol

Nope I never found any prezzies as a kid, they will have been in mum and dads bedroom and I wasn't allowed in there so no chance of finding them.
I hid my kids stuff at mums too

Shamefully I admit to doing that too!. I used to open and re-wrap gifted presents to my kids too (so I didn't duplicate the gifts )

I once hid some of my kids pressies in an old grandfather clock. I was in the kitchen when I heard this almighty crash...yep, they'd been peeping and that clock cost a small fortune to get repaired.

I did a few times, or I'd make a deal with my sister to tell each other what the other was getting lol.
