From The Daily Star
PETRIFIED raid victim Kerry Katona checked herself into the Priory yesterday, pleading: “I need so much help to keep sane.” The ex-Atomic Kitten is said to be a “wreck” since her Sunday-night ordeal at the hands of masked men. Kerry had a knife put to her throat as she and her baby daughter were held prisoner while husband Mark Croft was forced to hand over valuables in the £150,000 raid. Since the terrifying drama at her £1.2million mansion, Kerry has suffered nightmares about baby Heidi being stabbed to death. The I’m A Celebrity winner, 26, already has a phobia about knives after a childhood incident in which she had to pull a blade from her mum’s leg after a row with her partner. Mother-of-three Kerry has turned to the £6,000-a-week Priory in Roehampton, south-west London, in a bid to ease the depression she has suffered for years. Her publicist Max Clifford, 64, told the Daily Star: “What has happened to her has hit her so hard she has barely slept since Sunday. She has had terrible nightmares about Heidi being stabbed to death.” A friend added: “Kerry hates being alone and hates being away from Mark. After what happened in her home, is it any surprise she wants to get help?” Former cab driver Mark, 36, was frogmarched round the house by balaclava-wearing thugs wielding a hammer and crowbar. The couple had only moved into the luxury house in Wilmslow, Cheshire, three months ago. The gang made Mark identify the most expensive items in the place. These were jewellery, two TVs including a huge plasma screen and games consoles. The three men left the family unhurt after escaping in their £60,000 BMW. Yesterday we told how brave Kerry vowed to return to her dream home. She is facing a custody battle with her first husband, former Westlife singer Brian McFadden, 27. His mum was looking after their two children – Molly, five, and Lilly Sue, four – in Ireland when the raiders struck. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news_detail.html?sku=2032 |

You know - I wouldn't wish any harm like that on anyone. But Kerry Katona would sell her grandmother for a good story. She'll manage to turn this into another money making opportunity.

If she hates being away from Mark, and is scared of her baby being stabbed - why is she locking herself in a clinic away from them all?
I understand what she went through was traumatising but if only everyone suffering depression could afford a quick-fix priory visit and making a few bob from selling the story in the process. |
