Also lets be real BB17 has had far better promotion than CBB17, all CBB17 had was short 10 second adverts and one billboard poster on the day of the launch, BB17 has had promoted tweets and a decent advert that was on the front page of YouTube and got more than 600k views on Facebook
He's not saying they're purposely sabotaging it.

They just don't put as much effort behind it as they do CBB. I think originally they only wanted CBB but Endemol said that both come as a package deal.

Hopefully this new set built etc is showing some new found support for it though.

like most my adverts go at x30 so that would be a big waste of time

Read some of the threads from the last week back. People seem to like deluding themselves into thinking that C5 promoting CBB more, providing more live feed for it and various other things is because 'it's more popular', as if that just happens on its own
I said in the other thread that, they only prefer it since it gets more interest from the GP, and i'm sure if it was the other way round they'll focus on BB more.

I'd rather them save money from advertising, a program that's been on for sixteen years is unlikely to attract new viewers, and concentrate on maintaining the series as well as they can do.

I'm hoping for better tasks this time around: there's been a few good ones but not consistently good.

Or of course, they might be saving their money so that they can persuade a certain someone to return.

Spoiler:

It's a cycle.

CBB was more popular so they put more work into it.

They put more work into it so its popularity was kept.

CBB remains more popular so they put more work into it.

And round and round it goes.

Just seen an advert on MTV (music channel) there now, having seen none for the past week. Presumably they're starting to advertise a bit more now with a week to go?

They better start doing more now there's basically a week left.

Love Islands promotion in the last week has been fantastic. They deserve praise for that.

We'll see how that rates tomorrow. They have put BB on C5 promo to shame generally.

I've seen the the BB17 advert a few times in the last day or so. But yeah it's embarrassing when ITV2 promote LI waaaay better than C5 do BB.
