Paul Simon suggests there are at least 50 ways to leave your lover in this classic number, but only gives about 8 ways....

but back to the song, why is leaving his lover. I get whey he may want to leave a partner where the arse has fallen out of their sex life or his wife if she kept on moaning about him drinking and watching the Office USA and never wanting to talk fckg endlessly about feelings and not liking her vile friends or their fkg horrible "dinner parties"...

but surely his lover is a bang tidy slip of a girl with a god like rack and an arse from Ikea?
