i think the reality is that if he doesn't go, the tories will call a snapshot election with Boris in charge and go for a fresh new term and will win. Thats why this no confidence letter was created.

Corbyn had an opportunity to put himself at the center of the debates, make the arguments pro/against valid, brought the standard of the debate up. He didn't, he just hid in a corner. He is a completely irrelevant and ineffectual leader.

Jeremy has to go! If Labour stands any chance of having a strong opposition to the Conservative government then this is their last chance or we will be ruled by Conservatives for many years to come.

even if they replaced him, the party will throw in the same old crap, like last time, and they can't blame corbyn for everything, when new labour had frittered away money on seneless wars, created the biggest migrant crisis ever, and ignored the wishes of its voters, the party is dead, because the percentage of labour voters who voted leave, where ignored, so why would they want to vote for a party that threw them on the side, what we need now is to call for an early election, and to get rid of mps who have taken us for granted.

Sadly Jeremy Corbyn is a weak Labour leader and doesn't come across that well I feel. He also spends too much time worrying about getting rid of Trident missiles so we can't defend ourselves which is rather pathetic. The whole point of having them is so you won't get attacked.

He would never get to be prime minister and has to go, so this Brexit comes just in time for his Exit.

Do you think so, I think he is just gearing up! It wouldn't surprise me to see UKIP in some kind of coalition or even in power in 2020

Corbyn never truly believed his remain position but as party leader he had to follow the official party line. At a personal level he is a committed euroskeptic and he struggled to hide these feelings which probably explains why he fronted such a poor remain labour campaign.

Corbyn is a deeply committed passionate politician but unfortunately he neither committed or passionate about staying in the EU.

Corbyn just made a very good speech.I did'nt agree with everything but i did agree with most of it.It was the most passionate i've seen him for a long time.I think he's secretly very pleased by BREXIT.He makes me sad because there are a few key issues of his which i fundamentally disagree with him on and a couple of things he's done which i don't agree with but many things i agree with.If Labour got a leader who was a little more sensible on these things i could really get behind them.
My problem is that i'm not far left enough for current Labour but am also anti Tory Party. The Lib Dems have a very bad image at the moment because they have no conviction and will bend over for anyone.
I don't see a need for UKIP now and i think Farage did a cracking job but is not the man for the PM job.I could'nt get behind Carswell either and i don't like Diane James. That scouse fella is ok but not to run a country imo.
So UKIP are'nt for me now either.
I'm just hoping Labour can get their **** together for me and i can finally have a political party to get behind.

It is amazing what serious calls for someone to go can do to them.

He knows he performed badly in the EU referendum, this was a much better speech,I agree.
I agree he seemed much freer as to passion and tone and more to the point content too.

Corbyn has taken on the leadership of a party with very deep structural flaws that have not been addressed for the past three decades or more, he was in the same room when the labour party back in the 80s split four ways, and where left in the wilderness for some years, I think that is what he is trying to stop, another big split in the party, when they lost the last election, they said that they underestimated ukip, and have not learn't their lesson, with the brexit vote, when ukip where going in labour's heartlands, they where doing something that labour should of being doing last year, listening and expressing in what their voters want and fear, instead they took the arrogant root because of their pro-EU stance, there miles away from winning an election,

Labour needs to raise its game and take advantage of this situation.

I would now like a new leader of Labour.

The years ahead now after the EU vote call for some real passion and determination to keep the UK a success and much more to have a totally inclusive vision for all and not only some.

A Conservative MP has said on the news today, the deal may not even be done by 4 years time, that is why in the uncertainty of not knowing how long this will take, we need a new election after a new Conservative leader is elected to give that leader or another a mandate to carry things out before any deal is begun to be negotiated.

If this may take 4 years or more, the next election is May 2020, it would be ridiculous to be in negotiations and then have to fight an election at home.
Labour also need to be ready and sadly I do not think Corbyn is.

Labour are dead in the water. They didn't listen to the people once again and sadly no matter who is in charge of that corrupt bunch of misfits they never will.
