There was a glimmer of hope in his DR entry. He's my fave but i didn't like his badgering of Andy. I was a annoyed and disappointed, i just thought "let it go!". But the DR entry made it slightly better. He said that perhaps Andy is misunderstood and Hughie and everyone else is wrong, and then he'll admit he's wrong.
Hughie was the only person to even entertain the idea or possibility that they could be wrong about Andy. Everyone else who dislikes him have already made a certain decision that he is a stirrer etc... but at least Hughie admitted that he could be wrong. And we all know what Hughie's like, he does something, then regrets it later. When we saw it first, it seemed like he was pretty certain about Andy being a stirrer, but then when he had time to reflect, he started backtracking. IMO that's good, siding against Andy will not do him favours. I think they'll be fine, and I actually think Andy will be too. Jayne was nice to him today, he always has Emma and Jason as friends, Laura seems to like him too, and he had a serious convo with Sam. I think Andy could be about to have a good week (especially with the proposal) |

I think Hughies behaviour was one of the worst things I've seen in there this year...I can't emphasise enough how much I disagreed with it....but I do agree with you that he said something in the diary room afterwards that showed that he had at least reflected on it and was prepared to have his opinion changed....it was surprising after what he had done but at least he is willing to reflect himself even if he doesn't maybe know how to...,the others have no ability to reflect themselves and that's what makes them so cruel and harsh....I hope he speaks to Andy again and they can at least carry on with a better position for both of them.

He was a complete prick for the most part tonight - really not a good episode for him. The fact that he gleefully turned round to Ryan and said "I'm a horrible person" was a bit as well.

Andy is trying to reason with people who don't know how to and people who have no self disciplin ...they're not used to be reasoned with so they think it's Andy being superior when in fact he is behaving like normal reasonable people do...with manners and without hysterics....they could benefit from learning from his example but they don't want to learn from anybody and that's why they are so stupid.

Hughie just lost the crown. Now we'll have useless and irrelevant Alex as winner instead.
That was stupid from start to finish.

He was being annoying, but it was almost like he was being annoying on purpose, he was smiling a lot of the time, it was a mixed ep for him, is it me or has he suddenly gone very camp he and Ryan did make me laugh at the end so he pulled it back a little, I think sadly Hughie will start to slide now though

It looked like he took pleasure of hurting Andy's feelings.
A lot of people are disappointed by him.. even me. He will need to redeem himself but it will be hard to forget this side of him.

I agree with Ammi he was simply trying to show Andy, what Andy himself is doing. Hughie didn't want to talk about Andy behind his back therefore told him to his face what he had said, he said it 3 times and tried to explain why, but Andy didn't want to know.

Remembering Kerry
|
I think he started out good intentioned although wrong in his perception of Andy in my view.
Then he got into difficulty and when he gets into difficulty he gets frustrated. Andy handled it rather well in my view,I still like them both however. Last edited by joeysteele; 04-07-2016 at 07:40 AM. |

We will see what will happen next.
I mean Hughie has had much bigger arguments and has apologised (Jackson and Alex), so I don't think he will continue (unless Andy does some deliberate stirring), I think Hughie will drop it. In fact, I think Andy will get probably 3ish noms less than last time. Don't think Jason, Chelsea, Emma, Laura or Jayne will nominate him. |

One thing that stands big in the Gypsy community is status. His actions show very clearly he isn't a physically aggressive person and probably has been bullied a bit at home for his status. Now he is on TV, he knows he cant be hurt because of security, so he is playing the big I am and its coming over cringworthy.
I noticed when Jackson got in his face he cowardly looked away and positioned himself behind Chelsea. The mans playing a game and he thinks being the big I am will get him votes.Personally I cant stand the foooeeellll. |

It's annoying when two of your favourites go head to head with each other. It was like that in BB14 too, with Callum and Dexter

I thought the diary room made it worse to be honest.
Said to me that Hughie recolonizes he might be Wrong about Andy .. that there are two sides to the story ... Yet he still chose to Be Nasty and goading about him in the group. Had he called Andy aside and said "everyone thinks ... but i'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt" (the doubt he expressed in the diary room) it would be different. But he didn't .. he was nasty .. said "I think..." ... and not just once .. he found it necessary to to follow andy around and repeat it. All i see in the diary room is Hughie covering himself ... presenting one Hughie to the housemates .. then making a plea to the public that he really a lovely fair guy. Was my favorite ... after that? Byebye hughie

Ryan was uncomfortable because he knows that they're all playing a game in their conflict with Andy and Ryan realised that Hughie has misinterpreted that and was now taking it to an unacceptable level thinking it's real hate....when I don't think Ryan does really hate Andy....I think Lateysha and Ryan and Sam are threatened by Andy which is not the same thing.
