Agree with most of this. Even in the DR with his boyfriend Ed, Andy still pulled face of indignation and bemusement when Ed dared to praise HMs Andy doesn't like.

RE the production team know the hms can't generate drama so they have turned it into Ex on Beach.

Jackson and Lateysha have every reason to be pissed off with Emma grabbing for more when they have had nothing and Andy was simply acknowledging that as being their reason....he inferred that the whole " we are a team " and " we are trying to save our food budget " is fake and he was correct.
Andy stands by his three friends in the house and is loyal to them for being there for him so he probably feels in a bad position because of Emmas decision to put herself first. He won't want to go against her.
But what he said in the diary room was accurately true, they are all only interested in getting their fare share and rightfully so, but it's def not for the reasons they're pretending them to be.
At least Jackson was honest and said it out loud which is more than anyone else has....what's a shame is that because he said Emma was selfish to push the button he feels he can't either and he's wrong.

As I've said before, you all take Andy way too seriously. He has a wry sense of humour which I love and have seen quite a few times. I thought it was funny - which it almost certainly was intended to be.

I get his humour completely, have done from the very start....a big part of why he has been my favourite for so long...it's not often there's a housemate who has that type of humour....would love to know which housemates get it too....hard to know because we only see 45 minutes of each day and Andys humour isn't gonna get shown too much.
I loved the dynamics between him and Marco and you didn't have to also like Marco, like I did, to find that funny. Andys expressions and retorts to Marco were brilliant.

The diary room incident above made me really laugh esp as neither of the girls even registered what he meant....just made it more funny

Andy comes across as a very unloved individual with views only he can understand. he feels that by dealing out justice, it kind of makes sense of his lonely life. His views seems to stem from years of being bullied or ignored. He defo cuts a very sad figure and his Husband to be looks even more pathetic. I strongly believe they bounce of each other and are happy in their own little boxes.

Yeah, they really didn't get it - the blank looks.
His expressions to Marco were priceless and meant to amuse the viewers but many didn't get it and thought he was looking down on him. Bah!

Actually Andy was the only one who tried to help Marco and explain how he may look to the outside...he tried to help him and showed him some kindness not just laugh at him or attack him....but, again, people saw it as patronising him and they couldn't have been more wrong.....Andy didn't use Marco as an easy nomination like the rest...Andys noms were totally left field compared to the others at the time...another reason I like him, he knows his own mind and doesn't follow the crowd.

I agree with every word of that...and the bold part is a major reason why I like Andy too. He's a stand - out HM in so many ways.

It was obvious that whoever and whatever BB had lined up for them all they were going to get a chance at anyway. They weren't going to leave anyone out.
