The shows edits can make up to 10% difference in the vote. Ergo bear won by unfair edits. Total scam of a programme now.

A win is a win and what it means is that people were willing to spend more to ensure a Bear win.

There have been far more winners of CBB and BB that I would have preferred not to win against my preferred choice but a public vote is a public vote and they voted more for Bear than any other housemate.

He is the winner, sour grapes and belittling that are futile, it was a narrow win, however he got more votes than anyone else achieved, a little more than !% more of Ricky in 2nd.
had this been the same margin of win for Ricky,we would likely be being told something like .''yes we did it, we got him to beat Bear in the end''.

Well this stands the same, Bear actually beat everyone else in the house and survived more eviction battles than any other housemate in this series too, every week he was up.
That is a winner.

Again I have to express my dismay that Frankie only came 6th, he was my choice all through.
However he came last of the 6, with a really dismal share of the vote and that cannot be denied either.

I doubt it really makes a difference to Bear when he won the hearts of the public.

Good marginally lost to evil this time, but in the long run, good will thrive and become more successful than evil so who cares?

Very interesting and so close!!

The fact that someone absent in the edit was only 1.4% away from beating Bear who dominated 90% of the show is quite a feat. Ricky would have done it easily if they showed more of him.

I'm happily surprised that Renee more than doubled Marnie

Actually turning it the other way, seeing more of him may have been more of a downfall for him.
The one with the majority of the time shown, not 90%, scored a narrow win, perhaps a little less of him would have given bear an even bigger win.

More of Ricky just doing very little but seen much more, may well have actually worked against him rather than for him in the end.

The fact he kept out of things, was rarely seen, may well be one of the main reasons he in the end, did so well.
As Vicky commented on in another thread, really a good number of people who ended up voting for Ricky likely only did so, to try to stop Bear winning.
Really though, Ricky had been seen a great deal more in the last week or more of highlights particularly.

So again on the ifs, maybes and possibles, him being seen that bit more may have actually thwarted and halted his progress, as he wasn't then seen doing anything of note really.
Other than refusing to fully undertake and participate in a couple of set BB tasks.
That is really all I can recall of any note of Ricky in the house.

This is all true. I recall him laughing at Aubrey spitting in Bear's food/drink too.

It only works in your favour if you're doing something good/entertaining. You could say that it's surprising considering how Renee was Bear's main opposition in the end (Ricky towards the last week or so was seen sat talking to Bear in the smoking area mostly) that she never made the top 2. The American women were the main anti-Bear vote.

Sam and Ricky were almost invisible during the week when Ricky topped the votes - then when Sam was evicted she was actually shown more during that week (same goes for Saira). Airtime isn't necessarily a good thing, even on a vote to save.
