Listen to your body, if it doesn't want food for a day or two due to being unwell then it won't hurt you. (Unless you have other health issues)
As long as you have plenty of fluids. When we were kids and not very well, we looked forward to dad getting us a bottle of lucozade, all wrapped up in orange cellophane, proper glass bottle as well, this is before it became a trendy, million different flavours plastic bottle malarkey. So, try and drink some lucozade to keep your energy up a bit. |

When my little lad was 3 he got an awful stomach bug.He did'nt eat for 5 days.Just liquids.We were worried that he wasn't eating and took him back to the docs a few times.The doc was'nt worried at all and said he'll eat when he's ready and just give him plenty of fluids and Dioralyte sachets.He was fine.
So the moral of that story is that a fully grown adult will be absolutely fine without eating for a few days.Just keep drinking and eat when you are ready. |
