No , its fabricated as an excuse to explain teenagers behaviour and it can be used as a teenagers bargaining chip in an argument.

In truth , its the time of your life , and the clock is ticking , so get out their and enjoy it.

I definitely think it depends on how you look at life and what environment you belong to as to how much pressure is actually put upon you.
I go to a private school and I feel there is a lot of pressure to do well and get into a top university because that is the reputation of the school that a high percentage of their students do that.
I think most of the pressure comes from school/college.
I personally don't have any pressure from my parents but I know that some of my friends do.

You are creating who you are in your adolescent years , during school. Ive personally never had prolems at school but if you do run into a lowlife , give them a kick in the balls and tell them Stu says 'Hi'.

It does depend in which situation you are. You body and you mind change because you discover new things, new idea, the sexuality and stuff like that. There is the college in the middle so it's normal to have some pressure at all.
But it's not the end of the world, I mean being a teenager is the best part of your life, you can do everything you want, going out, drinking, smoking, having sex everywhere you can.
However it's the most important too part because you make some grrat decisions, you have a lot of responsabilities, you can't disapoint people, your build your life at that stage.
I will talk about me for exemple, I'm the President and the leader of plenty of organisations, I've been elected Student of the year in the 2nd city of France and of course I have some pressure but I think about how my situation and how I'm lucky even in hard moments. It's a hard reponsability to have and you can't think 2 seconds about being a looser.

We all know you aren't in a good moment but don't start the best part of your life like that, you will regret is so much, and you musn't regret things in your life. Think good, it's normal to have so hard moments, everybody does have but the best is coming one day.

Yes there is pressure everywhere. When you are an adult, you have to find a job, having a family, keep them in a nice way etc...
There is pressure everywhere but at different levels, you will always find something like that in any situation.

No pressures on me. I've no job, no bills to pay, live rent free, have everything bought for me, I get £30 a week just for going to 6th form.

When my mum was my age she was pregnant with me, moving into her own flat with my dad, doing a-levels and working.

So it all depends on your situation, if you're just a usual teenager then I don't think there are any pressures. If you're only problem is school then you have a pretty pressure free life.

Surely though that it depends what type of school you go to, what age you are at school, who you are at school, to what type of pressure you have placed upon you?
I don't really believe that "if you're only problem is school then you have a pretty pressure free life"
My school puts a huge amount of pressure on, as I said before.

Yeah someone will probably you offer you a part-time job somewhere.
Make sure you get your CV's sent out quite early and I'm sure you could possibly ask someone at your school to help you compose your CV so that it's got all the correct and appropriate information on. There are also templates online

Compared to some teenagers who have the pressures that you shouldn't really have untill you're an adult, I'd say the pressure of going to a private school is more so than an ordinary school yeah but if that is the only pressures you have then I'd say it is a pretty stress free life.

However, my response was really from what the OP has said, in other threads his problems seem to be sitting by a hyperactive girl and having P.E cancelled ... not a huge deal in comparisson to what some teenagers have.

Seriously Flavaflav, school is what you make of it, I've always enjoyed it, obviously I enjoy the holidays and stuff but on a whole I enjoy going because I just make the best of it. You say you've got a good group of mates so wouldn't that make it a lot better for you? Seriously, just enjoy being a teenger whilst you can, get on with school, even try and enjoy it, school is only one part of being a teenager and bar the underage drinking, clubbing etc, it is without a doubt the best part.

Before you know it you're going to be an adult with bills to pay, rent to pay, a job to do, possibly bring up kids and do everything for yourself so just enjoy being a kid whilst it lasts.
