Default Big Brother 1-8: Rankings

OK, Give 8 points to your favourite Big Brother and then 1 point to your least favourite series. After we will keep a tally of the results. You must vote all series, otherwise your votes will not be counted because other series will have a disadvantage! So:

8 - BB 3
7 - BB 5
6 - BB 6
5 - BB 2
4 - BB 8
3 - BB 4
2 - BB 7
1 - BB 1

8 pts - BB5 (Brilliant - best series ever)
7 pts - BB6 (A close second to BB5, more brilliant twists, tasks, and housemates)
6 pts - BB7 (there were some problems with this series but overall it was enjoyable)
5 pts - BB1 (didn't watch but I've seen the video of Nick getting caught and it looked good...)
4 pts - BB2 (I didn't watch so I can only be indifferent to this series - so it goes in the middle)
3 pts - BB8 (A mess)
2 pts - BB3 (didn't watch but it had Jade Goofy - 'nuff said)
1 pts - BB4 (I DID watch this one... unfortunately)

8 pts - BB6 - My first real BB (as in watching it when it aired). I loved the house, the tasks, the secret missions, the eye, and especially the housemates!
7 pts - BB5 - Watched most of it after the series ended, LOVED it.
6 pts - BB8 - A bit of a...mess. But it had some of the most entertaining characters.
5 pts - BB3 - Watched some of it after series ended, thought it was alright.
4 pts - BB7 - Watched it, hated it.
3 pts - BB1 - Didn't watch it, but it was the start of BB so you can't compare it to the fame-hungry contestants of the later BBs.
2 pts - BB2 - Didn't watch it, didn't look interesting.
1 pt - BB4 - Didn't watch it, but seemed really boring.

BB7 - Great characters and heaps of funny moments! It's the one Big Brother I can watch over and over again and still be as entertained. Grace, Lisa, Lea, Nikki, Jayne and Richard all great value

BB5 - The most original and fresh Big Brother. Up until recently it was my favourite but after watching BB7 again it's a close second. Ingenious twists and tasks and every housemate (even the early evictees like Kitten and Emma) played their part in making it great!

BB6- Really outgoing big characters and the best tasks. Lots of good twists but not overkill like BB8. Plus Makosi made it right through to the end and I still think she is the most entertaining housemate ever!

BB3 - A really funny, nice Big Brother with lots of changes eg. first year at Elstree, first live launch night... Lot's of characters that you could identify with. Jade was the most entertaining character followed by Alex IMO.

BB1 - My first Big Brother and one I still love to this day. It was the first one and 'Nasty Nick' and people like Craig and Nichola made it great.

BB2 - Helen and Paul were great probably the most gen romance. There was nasty Stuart and feisty Amma and bitchy (for her day ) Narinder who made great tv.

BB4 - Didn't watch but heard it was crappy. At least one good thing came out of it: it was so bad it made the producers radically have to rethink the formula leading to the legendary BB5.

BB8 - Boring, dull losers with rubbish tasks and even more rubbish twists. New housemates were brought in four weeks before the final and every eviction was predicatable. My least favourite Big Brother!

I'm doing it in REVERSE ORDER

1 point goes to BB1. I didn't see it, as I was too young, and by the time I truly got into BB, BB1 seems slightly dull in comparison.

2 points goes to BB4. So boring - the worst housemates ever, none of them deserved to win, and just so unmemorable.

3 points goes to BB8. A let down in many ways - twists had potential to be very good, but were just boring. The editing was more unfair than ever, and Big Brother meddled far too much. And Brian won.

4 points goes to BB2. I didn't see most of it, but what I saw was really good, and it was a good mix of housemates, tasks, and twists.

5 points goes to BB5. The whole "Big Brother goes evil" thing was amazing, and it was the best for tasks and twists. I didn't like many of the housemates that much, which is the only thing stopping this from reaching number one.

6 points goes to BB3. An excellent mix of housemates, and the whole rich/poor divde twist worked really well. It was the only series where the person I wanted to win won as well, which gave it a good ending.

7 points goes to BB6. Amazing housemates, tasks, and twists, and its a very close second to number one which is...

BB7! BB7 gets 8 points for one person really - Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace made it the best series for me. The twists were good (except for bringing back ex-housemates), and strong characters managed to stay in. The best series, in my opinion!

8 points: BB5. A truely unique and balanced series. The final series before the producers took thing too far, in my opinion. LGBs still reign as the ultimate Big Brother grouping for me.

7 points: BB1. The first series and perhaps even my favourite. I found there were many likeable characters and the majority of the show was fun and enjoyable to watch.

6 points: BB7. An extremely entertaining series, even if the boundries were pushed a little too far for my liking. Nikki, Aisleyne and Lea rank as three of my all-time favourite housemates.

5 points: BB2. I enjoyed this series a lot and found that the majority of the contestants were nice people. However, as far as editing goes, this is probably one of the worst - viewers were manipulated into believing nice and genuine people were evil.

4 points: BB3. If it hadn't been for Jade, this series would rank so much lower. It was very dull in parts and is only really remembered for the drunken antics. Before the alcohol started flowing, nobody really had much of a character.

3 points: BB6. I did like housemates such as Derek, Makosi, Kinga and Kemal, but there were also some extremely unlikeable housemates for me - Saskia, Maxwell, Science, Robert. I enjoyed watching, but also found it a challenge to ensure some of the cruelty that went on.

2 points: BB8. Despite me having five strong favourites from this series, I also found the likes of Liam, Gerry and Ziggy unbearable at times. The way they played people against each other and acted like saints was disgusting.

1 point: BB4. A rather boring series with some likeable housemates, but the type of people you would meet at a boring house party. Some terrible eviction results, too.

8 points: BB7
Everything about this series was perfect. The eye was the best ever, the house was a marvel, the housemates were fantastic and the twists were great. The only thing that spoiled it for me was the predictable winner.

7 points: BB6
Second favourite eye, second favourite house, second favourite housemates, second favourite twists... second favourite series!

6 points: BB5

5 points: BB3

4 points: BB1

3 points: BB2

2 points: BB4

1 point: BB8
This series was a disaster from Day 1. The worst ever BB in my opinion.

Note: No reasons given for BB1-BB5 since I didn't watch them in full and I am basing my opinions on them from the little I have seen on YouTube
