A major incident has been declared on a British mountain range after 70 children got into difficulties while camping.

Multiple emergency vehicles are on their way to the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland.

The Ministry of Defence said 40 Army cadets aged between 12 and 17, are among those who were camping and got into difficulties in the poor weather conditions, according to the BBC.
