They ruined walnut whips when they made the chocolate shiny and smooth and took the crumbled nuts out of the bottom.

They killed milky way when they made the inside white.

And have you seen a packet of air lately? Er I mean crisps. I remember back when you got crisps in that bag.

They used to make them by sorta' 'spiraling/coiling' the chocolate up from the largest base layer upwards but now they're moulded and have seam lines each side. This completely different manufacturing technique resulted in the chocolate tasting completely different too (nowhere near as nice imo!). And now they add insult to injury by stealing our nuts!!!!
They did also make them in Coffee flavour at one time.

A few of my favourite extinct chocolate bars are the Strawberry Aero (the original shape/style with the flavour coloured center, Mint Cracknel bars and Pink Panther bars. Yum!!!

I don't remember strawberry Aeros which do sound yummy, but loved mint Maltesers, although nobody else I mention them to seems to remember them, so maybe I dreamed them Walnut Whips tend to be missing the nut or you need a magnifying glass to find it these days anyways, so they might as well do away with the diddy walnut piece.

If they do away with the walnut I won't buy them anymore. I like the walnut, big or small, and won't bother without. Often buy them from M&S - I think they are their own make, can't remember now. They are nice anyway so it will be Nestle's loss.

I agree with you, but you would be hard done by to even find the walnut on them these days, I stopped buying them ages ago for that reason, so don't care if they do away with the diddy walnut as they will do so anyway no matter what the consumers want, they just can't help themselves and have to mess with our favourites no matter what

If Marks do their own, I might give them a try then
