When something so horrendous that causes so much damage and heartbreak to so many people comes down to blaming the left or the right then I think humanity has lost the plot.
From what I have seen the response to Harvey has been much better than the response to Katrina, again, not down to left or right politics, down to infrastructure and maybe learning by the mistakes made in the aftermath of Katrina.

Random ***** saying that Texas deserved this disaster for voting Trump when the areas mostly affected by it are democratic don't represent the left at all just like the Neo Nazis that call themselves the Alt Right don't represent the right (although the continued lack of condemnation from the Right towards the Neo Nazis is problematic).
