Underrated:

BB10 - I always defend this series, but it was great. So many classic housemates, storylines and just endlessly entertaining.

CBB16 - I know many loved it, but it seems to have taken a downturn in popularity. I would say it's the most I have enjoyed CBB and I was engaged the whole way, a pretty great cast.

CBB19 - Probably the most consistently entertaining January series.

BB18 - I loved this series. Week 2 was bad, and it got dull with Ellie and Sam but apart from that I thought it was great. I loved four housemates and I always like it when I have people to support (I think the reason why I wasnt as in to BB17 as many others is because I didnt have a huge favourite), it gave us some classic moment like Fight Night and Isabelle's win. Plus some great early boots like Sukhvinder. Isabelle is also my favourite C5 housemate and she won <3

Overrated

BB9 - Just a divide of dull and bitchy. I found BBlock nearly as awful as The Whisper Club. The only thing people debate from this series is if Rachel Rice was boring or not, which tells you everything about how interesting it was.

CBB17 - I do like it but I think it's overrated on here. I found a lot of the cast bland.

BB17 - I like it but its overrated on here. I suppose I dont really care much for anyone this series, it was great for drama but I wasnt involved as much as others.

Underrated:

BB11 as besides the John/Josie showmance and the godawful quadruple near the final it was otherwise pretty enjoyable

BB15, even though I don't like it that much myself i include it here cause I think it gets a little too much hate and would honestly be way less hated if Helen hadn't won. For a series that only came out three years ago, the cast actually was refreshingly diverse and I was consistently interested in what would happen next (even if it sometimes didn't pan out how I wanted).

CBB8 gets a lot of hate, and even though I'm not big on it sometimes it had a charm of light-heartedness and harmlessness that made me a little confused that it got so much flack as if it was a damaging series. And the common accusation of "nothing happened" is pretty false. Sure it had that terrible love triangle conconcted by Lucien Laviscount but every other storyline was pretty interesting e.g. Darryn vs Bobby, Tara Reid's descent into madness, the Sally/Paddy hate/flirtmance, etc.

CBB12 doesn't necessarily get hate but I feel it should get talked about much more with a mostly strong cast, consistently entertaining and rarely went stale, and imo a better summer series than the pretty overrated CBB16.

Overrated:

BB8 was pretty bad and I feel like that only gets excused because Top 10 housemate Charley Uchea was in it.

BB18 would've largely been considered terrible if Isabelle hadn't won

CBB13 is not that great and it especially soured towards the end in the Jim redemption arc and the Sam/Ollie bull****, concluding with the 2nd worst final 2 ever. It was much stronger in its early-middle portion. The Casey/Lee/Jasmine triangle also gets a lot of praise but I feel like it was getting a little old after a while.

CBB16 is a great series but it was hugely carried by the Americans in its entertainment value with only about 2-3 British exceptions. It was a huge imbalance between the two sides of UK vs USA when it come to which I enjoyed more.

BB1 I always say is very underrated. There's some great characters in it (mainly the female cast). It's just that it's a very different type of show to what most would expect from it nowadays.

Underrated:

BB7: Became much less popular over the years due to its second half, which imo isn’t even that bad

BB10: The only? Series that got better in its second half

BB14: Again, much less popular nowadays considering it was great at the time and when I re-watched it

BB18: My beloved series, had a mix of everything which is always good and had a great winner to top it off (although any of the finalists would’ve been great for me)

Overrated:

BB6: Honestly? Tbf im only halfway through my first watch but there haven’t really been any memorable moments? I liked the entirety of Mary, and the only other funny/memorable things that’ve happened is Derek barking in the speed-dating Task and Cidergate. The Box Task didn’t really live up to my expectations either, yeah it was good but I could think of much better tasks. Again, I’m only halfway through and I know that some of the more iconic things happen in the second half. CAN someone reassure me on this please x

BB17: I LOVED it at the time but looking back, I dint remember much of it, and the cast was sorta unlikeable?

I can't really remember a lot about what happens when, but the box task is one of my all time favourite things in BB so any reassurance from me might not be that... reassuring

Tbf I did think it was a good Task, just didn’t know why some people thought it was the best task of all time etc.

I prefer the second half of BB6 to the first, however the best week is Saskia's eviction week. It had so many iconic moments, Makosi head****ing Kemal about leaving, Makosi sneaking in the Secret Garden lot, Cidergate, "At least someone got wet tonight", Vanessa vs Saskia, Saskia and Maxwell sex etc.

I prefer the second half because it has a lot more plot and less random arguments, though it still has a lot of drama. BB6 has the most iconic moments of any series, apart from arguably BB5 (though I would still give it to BB6 personally.) Also the best cast..

BB8: I know the pre Day 62 is loved by the forum, though the moment Charley got evicted and Chanelle walked, many people on here found the second half a chore to watch...not when we havs characters such as Shanessa and Kara-Louise to watch!
BB12:
You guys can say whatever you want about the casting, but this series had the DRAMA, showmances, great casting, and the best male winner ever!
Overrated:
BB2: I've mentioned this a lot before, I even made a thread on it, this series screams boring and dull all over it...Helen, Narinder and Paul were the only good casting choices which brought in entertainment, everything interesting post Narinder's eviction, is Helen and Paul's showmance...and crap winner tbh, annoying and gets on my nerves easily...Brian D is the worst male winner ever,
idk how he managed to get on UBB, and win it!

the fact a few top housemates were voted out over her, and that she then left. Plus she was the first real person that I felt went into Big Brother to use it to up profile as Glamour model, i doubt she ever watched the show before.

I think Anthony won that for two things imo, the way he handled himself with Craig near on Sexual harassment, many wouldn't have been so patient with his actions. Plus i think he was best out of what was left. He wasn't a total dick to everyone although i do think he was one of the worse winners from the channel 4 era.

Saying that BB 6 is my favourite, along with 5. I love it cause it's the only oen that gets better with rewatches and unlike many i loved the bleaker feel to it, that we didn't have a clear winner. Nearly everyone was a bit of a dick in it.

Underrated i think BB10, although it has one of my least favourite winners and it has one of the more hated Housemates Bea (she was a great villain, who came in, played up the hippy chick thing and took down Freddie, who was a clear on to be one of the favourites to win it), she was a great villain. Plus the way they pretty much favoured Noirin over everyone did ruin it in the 2nd half and how nearly every guy just made a fool of themselves to woo her. Plus the final has to go down as one of the worse.

I still love the first 4 or 5 weeks, as it had Sree in it, who i think myself and a few others loved and had to fight a battle on here at the time to defend.
