We give our dogs all sorts, nothing that would harm them obviously (chocolate, onions, tea, etc) but they have chicken, beef, pork, mince, there was a time a couple of years ago when I was having chicken nuggets for dinner and the dogs were having steak

I didn't know this

I do however know, not to give hedgehogs milk. Not that any ever make it to my house though, they keep trying but they all get squashed in my estate by the looks of things. An insane amount of hedgehogs get squashed on the roads near my house. I'm actually beginning to think someone might be doing it on purpose...like sitting in wait for them to come out then aiming. WHich is a horrid thing to contemplate...but its like 2+ hedgehogs per week. And my estate is pretty small..maybe 200 houses in total or something

Always have given my dog any of our food, I don't think it's that bad if it's just occasionally

my dog rarely gets human food as I find it upsets his tummy and causes his stools to be really loose. He has dry dog food as the wet dog food also makes his stools runny.

Raisins etc are bad for dogs Cherie maybe that's the link with hot cross buns,We give the dog, his normal dog food, dog treats sometimes a bit of a sandwich crust or the odd biscuit , we never give him bones , chocolate ,fruit , anything spicy either , grapes can kill as can chocolate, same goes for the cat , although she does love the odd crisp.

we only give mine like chicken bones or meats but we’re pretty strict with everything else

if there’s a questionable food that we want to give to her we just google if it’s alright for her to eat it and if not, then we don’t give it to her

and if the meat is heavily seasoned then we wash it off in the sink before giving it to her
