Default What's happening in Israel?

In one, a youth identified as Abdel Fattah Abd al-Nabi, 19, is shot in the back as he runs away from the fence carrying a tyre; in a second, a woman is shot as she approaches the fence waving a Palestinian flag; in a third, a man is shot in the leg when he stands up after praying by the fence.
Israel identified al-Nabi, who was killed, as a Hamas fighter, but Hamas' military wing did not claim him as one of its members.
Gaza health officials said an additional 800 protesters were injured by live fire.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel said on Monday it has canceled a plan to deport African migrants to Africa and reached an agreement with the U.N. refugee agency to send more than 16,000 to Western countries instead.

What happened is that Hamas and their fellow terrorist squads around the strip as usual take advantage on these protests, the same as ISIS are using the refugee problem to sneak their terrorists into Europe.
Has Israel done a "clean" job over there? No, sometimes sadly it cannot be achieved. Did Israel target mostly the actual terrorists amongst the protesters? Yes, and that's why 10 out of these 16 were terrorists.
You know, terrorists, the kind of terrorists who go on a massacre to kill Ariana Grande's fans in Manchaster, pub goers in London Bridge (been there, seen enough), tourists around Big Ben, bus passengers 7/7 - it's just that the British people have a very few of these, Israel has suffered tons of them (and still does) but no one would #Pray4TelAviv.

So what's happening in Israel? Nothing new - it might not be handled in the best of ways, which is always a shame, Israel is not innocent but neither do the Palestinian authorities who don't give a flying ... about the people they're allegedly "fighting for". Israel is dealing with a lot of crap so the western world wouldn't have to deal with.
It takes more than reading the paper to understand what's really happening in Israel.

In fact, that's what happening right now in Gaza. Nothing extraordinary is really happening in the rest of Israel - streets are safe, and it's far from the war zone people would imagine it is.

IDF: At least 10 of the 15 killed at Gaza border were members of terror groups

BY JUDAH ARI GROSS AND TOI STAFF

Army publishes list of names, positions of men shot dead during violence at the security fence; Hamas acknowledges that five of them were gunmen from its military wing

No one who is PEACEFULLY protesting needs to go near a security fence en masse to provide cover for sinister attempts to penetrate it.

No one who is PEACEFULLY protesting needs to set fire to rubber tyres as a smoke-screen.

No one who is PEACEFULLY protesting needs to take automatic weapons and fire at the Israeli soldiers who were guarding their border security fencing.

As with most 'Peaceful Protests' these days - wherever they may be held - subversives and political agitators take over.

Jeremy Corbyn has condemned Israel’s killing of at least 27 Palestinians on the Gaza border as an “outrage” and attacked Western “silence” about the deaths.

In a message read out at a demonstration outside Downing Street, the Labour leader demanded that Theresa May support the United Nation’s call for an independent international inquiry.

Britain should also consider stopping the sale of arms to Israel that “could be used in violation of international law”, he said.

Mr Corbyn spoke out after at least nine more Palestinians were killed, and hundreds more injured, by Israeli gunfire, some reportedly shot in the head or upper body.

The latest deaths came a week after 18 Palestinians lost their lives when Israeli soldiers opened fire at similar demonstrations in support of a “right to return” to land lost to Israel in 1948.
