Power of Veto

It's time for the first Veto comp of the season, and this one is called Stick or Switch.

You're about to be divided into two teams of four, which will be chosen by the two nominees in a school-style pick. Once the two teams are confirmed, two players from opposing teams will face-off against each other for a quick-fire question. The player who answers correctly first will score a point, and the loser will be eliminated. The losing player will nominate a player from their team to take their place, while the winning player will have the option to Stick and continue against another player, or Switch and nominate another member of their team to take their place.

Once one team is eliminated, the player in the winning team with the most points will win the Power of Veto. In the event of a tie, the tied players on the winning team will compete in a further quick-fire round until there is a winner.

The aim of this game is to accumulate as many points as you can, but not to risk staying on too far that you end up being eliminated. Switch for another player on your team in an attempt to eliminate them, but risk them scoring more points. It's all about knowledge, skill and timing.

That's another element to this, you want people on your team who are going to ensure your team doesn't get eliminated first, but you don't want people who are going to accumulate more points than you

Unfortunately he's not been online in nearly three hours and under normal circumstances I would consider saying we can wait until tomorrow but with me not being back until very late tomorrow and with a lot to get through then already, I really can't push everything back as late as Saturday

The first team to be eliminated will lose and in the surviving team, the player with the most points wins the PoV

If there's say 2/3 or even 4 members tied on the winning team there'll be further quick-fire rounds to determine a winner and in the amazing event that it's 1-1 on teams at the end then it'll be a tiebreaker there as well
